COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This classic auburn-red lager descends directly from the first "Vienna" produced in Trieste at the beginning of the Twentieth Century. It maintains its smooth, fresh, simple taste together with a cleverly weighted flavour of malt and hops. Because of the simplicity and balance of its aroma this light red beer is perfect with all kind of food.

A beer that I really appreciated. Good tasting, very balanced, creamy head, medium bodied, amber in colour, very thirst-quenching. Label design is fantastic.

330ml bottle served in a Weizen glass. A: Pours an absolutely clear copper color forming a medium creamy and thin bubbled beige head. Medium retention and quite a lot of spotty, lingering and a bit soapy lacings formed and left around the glass S: Sweet caramel and crystal malts in the nose. Very earthy. I like it. Flowery hops in the end T: Sweet caramel in the upfront. Notes of caramel and crystal malts. Evident bready and very earthy low fermentation yeasts. Malty and crispy and very smooth and easy drinking. Mild hoppy bitterness that fits to the style M: Light and bit molasses body. Medium carbonation. Malt and caramel in the aftertaste O: Smooth and easy drinking beer. Simple and very honest. Much better than the italian macro breweries’ offers [ BA Review @ 10/28/2013 ]

11.2oz bottle 10/7/14 (Binny’s Naperville)-42° in Lager Glass-Pours a clear lighter amber with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and toffee. Taste of the same with a bit of a sourness on the back end. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad except for the sourness.

33cl bottle. BB date is 10/4/2014 which happened to be tomorrow, guess this won’t be its best. Amber pour, quickly dissipating head. Smell is earthy hops, earhty malt, hint of oxidation. Flavor is oxidized some sherry notes, soy, caramelized malt. These hit the market earlier this year but were rather difficult to find.

Amber color with light yellow head. Aroma of roasted malt. Flavor is combination of sweet caramel, roasted malt ending with little bitterness. Dobro paše uz šiš-ćevape :)

Bottle 0,33L. Clear amber colour with frothy, light brown head. Nice aroma of caramel, brown sugar, roasted malts and butter. Start taste is moderate bitter with caramel note. Finish is also moderate bitter with orange peel taste on the tongue. Light to medium body, watery mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Good caramely Italian vienner...

Shared a 33cl bottle. Aroma is cereal, caramel and liquorice. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is more sweet than bitter with a dry finish. Overall, a nice brew but a bit boring.

Enjoyed in a bottle at Pub Italia. Pours a hazy deep amber colour with a creamy warm cap, average retention and no lace. Big bread nose at first pour, then fruity malts appear. Fruity malts with caramel and a short finish. Wet mouthfeel but gets tarty, lingering. Surprisingly good looking for an Italian Vienna and well-brewed overall.

Bottle from an Italian restaurant. Pours a clear amber color with a fairly thick off-white head on it. Nose is actually pretty nutty to me, and was a little inviting. Taste was slightly toasty, but not overly flavorful. Decent drink, but pretty forgettable.
