COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beautiful golden-hued brew in the pale ale style. The lightest of our beers, it includes a nice hop flavor and all pale malts.

Pours a cloudy gold with a medium sized white head. Aroma is weak, but mostly grains with some citrus. Flavor is surprisingly hoppy with hints of malts. A decent beer.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours golden with a half inch or so of head. Aroma is malty, with notes a caramel and possibly coffee. This beer is light-bodied and has a mildly bitter finish. I was once quite fond of this beer. but, as my palate matures, I loose interest.

On tap at HopCat while in town for RBSG. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white head. Big grain on the nose, tending a bit to styrofoam. Crisp grain with a light sweetness and a little malt. Lightly bitter finish.

Maybe blonde ale would be a better style match for this. Good for a blonde ale. Nice crispness. Serving: Bottle

I don’t know what to tell you....something about this beer is amiss. Clear golden color, with what I thought was carbonation bubbles, but 5 min. or so later and it was just suspended floaties, is this beer bottle conditioned? "A golden beer brewed with pale malts. Large American hop additions contribute a crisp refreshing bitterness. A tribute to the Great Lakes, T.C.B. is a truly quaffable beer". Or so the brewery says .I’m not so sure, maybe I got a bad bottle. Bells is 1 of my top 5 breweries in America, this is not what I see in the reviews or the beer. I will try again another time, and review.

Pours up light and slightly cloudy with a big thick foamy head. Smells of a slimly citrusy alcohol. Taste is bitter and dry. There’s not a lot here to be excited about.

Smells of malts with a little alcohol. Lots of floaties. Fizzy yellow color. White head that fades fast. Taste is better than aroma. A crisp, bitter beer with little flavor and a poor aftertaste. Certainly nowhere near Bell’s best...

Very thin yellow pour with moderate white head. The nose is very weak, but has notes of grain, grass, and hints of hops. Thin-bodied pour reveals flavors of grain, cut grass, (corn?) and very reserved hints of hop bitterness. Pretty insubstantial, not really abd, but boring.
