COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beautiful golden-hued brew in the pale ale style. The lightest of our beers, it includes a nice hop flavor and all pale malts.

Though it has an AWESOME label, Third Coast falls short in literally all the other categories - itís not a very enjoyable beer to drink.

From a bottle. Pours clear bright Amber with lots of particles floating around and a thin, fizzy off white head. Tastes like dry toasted malt, a hint of citrus. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like nutty, roasted, and cereal malt, and a hint of citrus.

Bottle. Pours mostly clear gold with particulates all throughout the beer. Aroma is Captain Crunch, light funk, and wet bread. Flavor is dry and bland with weak hop character. Light/medium body.

Smells like a bmc adjunct with a tiny bit of hops. Taste I off puttingly metallic with floral hops and some clementine. Some cereal taste too.

Weak and watery. Tastes like a macro brew. Faint orange bitterness but not much other flavor. Skip this unless youíre REALLY thirsty.

Sweet floral fruits in the aroma. Dry sweet malt up front quickly hidden by a peppery bitterness. Call this one an ale pilsner. Finish is average as balance is somewhat muddy.

Golden straw color with thin white head. Smells of biscuit and malt. Thin and dry palate. Mild clean taste. Almost no bitterness. Nice light pale ale.

Old rating. Bottle from old town. Pours a slightly hazy pale straw with a minimal white head. Citrus, lemon, grass, biscuit and malts on the nose. Very pils like. Clean, crisp and refreshing dry and peppery finish. Good for the style. Like a floral pils.

Hazy and yellow. Smells like corn and grassy hops. Tastes same. On the light side even for an alleged APA. You want a drinkable beer thatís not gross and has a considerable hop kick, this could be it. Personally it leaves me cold though.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a hazy golden color. Thereís a finger worth of white-colored head, as well. Retention is just average for the style, but thereís something to be said about leaving a lot of lacing behind...and this one certainly does that. S: Well, thereís a promising salvo of hops on the nose. Nothing too extreme, but certainly existent. This naturally makes me assume this wonít be some bland, middle-of-the-road blonde ale. Thereís also a strong crackery presence coming from the malts. Iím not blown away, but the promise is there... T: Up front is the crackery, bready malt profile. Past that is where the hops come - sadly, theyíre kind of undefined, bringing only generic bitterness along with maybe a *twinge* of citrus. Sadly, the hops donít really add anything to the bready backbone, even creating a clash between the two elements. M: Unusually full-bodied for the style. Sure, the creaminess is nice, but the thick texture does nothing for its drinkability. Some out there will like the low carbonation, though. Still, itís definitely not crisp or clean enough for the style. O: As a hoppy blonde, this isnít turribly successful. Thereís way too much hop/malt clash for me. Having said that, this isnít something Iím going to drainpour - itís only kinda crappy instead of godawful. I donít need to have this one again.
