2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a straw color, with floating yeast sediment and medium head. Not a ton of aroma to speak of - a bit of grainy/bready malts, and some pilsener hops. The flavor is similarly subdued - a bit of citrus, some bready notes, and a bit of tartness from the yeast and hops. Drinkable enough, but not too much going on, and the bready and sour aspects arenít great.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Old rating. Bottle from old town. Pours a slightly hazy pale straw with a minimal white head. Citrus, lemon, grass, biscuit and malts on the nose. Very pils like. Clean, crisp and refreshing dry and peppery finish. Good for the style. Like a floral pils.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy and yellow. Smells like corn and grassy hops. Tastes same. On the light side even for an alleged APA. You want a drinkable beer thatís not gross and has a considerable hop kick, this could be it. Personally it leaves me cold though.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a hazy golden color. Thereís a finger worth of white-colored head, as well. Retention is just average for the style, but thereís something to be said about leaving a lot of lacing behind...and this one certainly does that.
S: Well, thereís a promising salvo of hops on the nose. Nothing too extreme, but certainly existent. This naturally makes me assume this wonít be some bland, middle-of-the-road blonde ale. Thereís also a strong crackery presence coming from the malts. Iím not blown away, but the promise is there...
T: Up front is the crackery, bready malt profile. Past that is where the hops come - sadly, theyíre kind of undefined, bringing only generic bitterness along with maybe a *twinge* of citrus. Sadly, the hops donít really add anything to the bready backbone, even creating a clash between the two elements.
M: Unusually full-bodied for the style. Sure, the creaminess is nice, but the thick texture does nothing for its drinkability. Some out there will like the low carbonation, though. Still, itís definitely not crisp or clean enough for the style.
O: As a hoppy blonde, this isnít turribly successful. Thereís way too much hop/malt clash for me. Having said that, this isnít something Iím going to drainpour - itís only kinda crappy instead of godawful. I donít need to have this one again.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy light golden amber, white head cover, bands and dots of lace. Taste is malt that moves abruptly through the palate, adding hops on the swallow, with the bitter lingering in a medium finish. Pretty much a "big box" beer, but itís on steroids, so, much better.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Perhaps those giving low ratings do not have taste buds... this is a very good beer for what it's supposed to be. From a bottle poured into a pint glass. Slightly hazy coloration with minimal head and lacing. Aroma is earthy with citrusy overtones. Grassy taste with minimal palate feel. A great beer for what it is. This is what mill workers should have been drinking in the '70's!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, pours straw color small white head. Slight floral aromas and taste. Nice crisp beer a little to close to what you might get from a larger brewery.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
"not a standout as iíve grown accustomed to from Bells, but definitely better than some other lackluster pales. a refreshing floral and grapefruit hop aroma and decent malt balance, with a little sweetness. a tad weak, but very approachable."

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a cloudy straw, good carbonation with little head. Malt aroma with a strong skunk smell, reminds me of Old Style. Bitter taste with slight malt and heavy skunk throughout. Sticky malt aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is surprisingly pleasant. Relatively strong fruity aroma with some grainy, bready malts and a bit of spice. Appearance was mostly nondescript; a straw color with a very white, small foam head that dissipates quickly, leaving no lacing. Appears as though there is a bit of sediment. The taste is very faint citrus, with mild bready, biscuit malts, with a bit of hops. Not much else going on. Palate is very thin and watery. Overall, nothing to see here, especially for Bellís.
