Aubrey (2643), Denver, Colorado, USA Oct 22, 2003 Updated: Apr 24, 2006 Frothy-thick, cake-like head above an opaque amber. OH MY GOD aroma! Incredible mouthfeel; smooth, rich, deep and rewarding. Malts were very rich and filled with depth. Notes of caramel, toffee, rock candy, molasses and Swedish chocolate. Hops balanced out nicely, but kept themselves just a hair off center stage. Warm alcohol. Dryish, toasty finish. Oh man, after taking every sip, my mouth and mind went for a little ride. Wonderful beer.
