COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bodega is an American Pale Ale brewed with an abundance of our favorite hops, and some unusual techniques to make those flavors shine. With remarkable harvests of Citra and Centennial hops from the Yakima Valley, its no surprise that we made up reasons to keep testing this recipe long after we had locked it.
Sourcing the immensely sought-after Citra and Centennial hops has not been easy, so we take extreme care to ensure that our methods preserve the layers of exotic fruit flavors that evolve as the glass goes by. A bright body with white wheat lets those tropical notes come through, and finishes with quenching freshness.

On tap @ Pony Bar during their launch party. Pours a deep orange, medium white head. Aroma is pine, big bready malt, deep orange, tangerine, grass, faint yeast. Flavor is light sweet into bitter pine hop, pithy citrus throughout. Light/med body & average carbonation. Decent APA.

Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Dank resinous hops, loads of Centennial it seems like, moderate hoppy bitterness, citrus pith, and a long hoppy bitter finish. Nice.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is pine and tropical fruit. Rather strong aroma, I would say. The taste was slightly sweet, moderately hoppy, and not particularly bitter. Pretty good APA. The citra hops were a nice touch. Plenty of tropical fruit to be had.

Tap at Draught 55. Hazy orange yellow pour with citrus and tropical fruit nose. Tastes of fresh citrus, mangos, papaya, some pine bitterness, bubblegum, slight raw dough. Lively beer very refreshing. Good start for these newcomers.
