2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
16 oz can , $1 at Krogers, served in a pint glass.
Pours clear amber with lots of visible carbonation and a large head that soon reduces to a durable top coat.
Aroma: Grassy/earthy hops with a metallic edge over some bready malts. Not bad but not appealing. The flavor is better. Mildly bitter.
Feel: initially over carbonated, this soon burns off leaving a decent feel with a medium-light body.
O: thirst-quenching lawnmower beer,

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Wal Mart: Poured a dark golden honey color with a soft pillow of foam head on top. As for the aroma, a moderate balance between semi sweet malts and bitter hops meet and almost form an aroma similar to an English ESB. The flavor was subdued with minor notes of caramel like malts and no substance of hops or yeast to speak of. Typical of any Amber but to classify this beer style as Vienna is shameful, is Coors behind this?

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a copper color with a white head. Nose is light. Palate is light medium body with toasty malt and bitter lingering aftertaste. Maybe ahead of Dos
Eqqus Amber and behind Brooklyn lagers.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
5oz taster on tap during Cincinnati Beer Fest 2013. Totally clear amber orange color. Minimal off-white head. Lighter body. Sharper, but moderate strength carbonation, lightly dry finish. Caramel malt, lightly toasty, some metallic. Moderate sweet, light bite, moderate bitter. Not a good macro lager by any stretch, very metallic, light on the flavor.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft to taster. Looks decent; gold though (not amber) with thin white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells of malt, biscuit, and lager yeast. Tastes like it smells, only weaker, with an average mouthfeel. Eh.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Amber with white head. No lacing. Aroma is grain, malt. Taste is sweet malts. Body is medium at best. Not much to say, though a very enjoyable beer.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
tap - Pours light amber with a white head. Thereís a mild grainy malt aroma. It tastes sweet with some bland toasted malt. Gold medal winning? From whom? Itís not terrible, but itís just another dull, under-flavored attempt at a mass market "craft" beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Served on-tap in a chilled "Boomba" 22(?)oz pint glass for a surprising $6.50 (with tax).
Appearance: Crystal clear, one finger head. Absolutely no lacing to speak of. Looks decent at best.
Smell: Sweet malts, and maybe a touch of hops, surprisingly enough ... truthfully, not bad smelling at all, and I donít get any adjuncts in the aroma (I donít know if theyíre used).
Taste/feel: Follows the nose, with a lot of sweet malts. The first few sips tasted super bready to me. As the beer warmed up, it just got sweeter and sweeter, and the aftertaste had a slight artificial sugar flavor. Not a bad taste, but thereís not much to it. Solid. Feelís average as well -- smooth, and not too carbonated.
Third Shift, to me, tastes a lot like Batch 19 (also from Coors). The difference there is, this is classified as a Vienna Lager, while thatís considered an American Adjunct Lager. For that reason, and the fact that this beer was only a buck less than a Boomba of Two Hearted (albeit at a different bar), itís hard to recommend it. Itís not an awful beer, but itís stark raving average, and quite a lot like Batch 19 for more money. Eh.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
slight spicy note in the background. Flavor was mainly sweet, not real hop presence. The beer was decent but one-dimensional. Finish was smooth and easy to drink. Moderate carbonation and mouth feel.
