Had on tap at The Garage, Rochester. Smells and tastes of corn, tin and yeast. Nice bittersweetness by swallow. Pale complexion, as usual. Thin whitish head. Yada, yada, yada.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I love this beer, itís one of my favorites, an AMBER well balanced with just enough attitude to stand on itís own two feet and say "hey, iím special". It has a nice complexity and a balance of roasted malty goodness without being too bitter (though it has a nice complexity from the hops itís well balanced). At certain times, however, when iím not very accustomed to drinking beer it seems a bit sweet. Generally speaking itís a nicely balanced amber and would beat our typical Texan bocks, or blondes hands down. The brewerís passion for beer is apparent in the fabulous and well balanced flavors.

Bue à la pression. Belle couleur ambrée foncée. Tout dans la douceur et la rondeur. Arômes caramel et sucre candi présents juste comme il faut.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Deep reddish amber pour. Sweet cereal grains and toasted malt. Flavor is quite biscuity/toasty with sweet caramel and vegetal hops. Lingering toast. Odd brew.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber orange color. Foamy head. Aroma is very grainy. Smells like mash. Flavor is also grainy and tastes like a grain mash. This is the same beer as Batch 19.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a three finger white foamy head fills up and recedes gently leaving a decent amount of nice spider web lacing, small streams of light carbonation are seen rising.
The smell had some malts forward in a bland soapy way, no hops.
The taste was sweet through the malts (like a Vienna lager), nothing else noted.
On the palate, it sat about a light, slightly crisp, sessionable, soapy aftertaste, bland watery finish.
Overall, uh . . . bmc does a Vienna lager, good for them, its not bad, but its not spectacular, ok thanx, time to move on.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light copper colored beer with a white head. Faint aromas of caramel. Tastes of caramel, some butterscotch, corn mash, and dirty water. Sweet finish. Easy to drink. Would be good as a session brew, but not much else.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Nice light amber color. Good taste for a lager that comes from Miller-Coors brewery. Smell is light sweet. Flavor is nice with a bitterness finished.

An easy drinking beer, aftertaste leaves you wanting a cigarette. Not my favorite lager but a decent beer nonetheless

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sneaky bastards ( Coors), I would never have bought a six pack of this if Iíd known who really brewed it! Anyway I actually quiet enjoyed the three 12oz bottles I had from that said six pack.
Drank over a two day period while staying in Newport Beach during March 2014. The name Amber lager kind of gives the beers colour and base taste away without needing to guess much? It pours a pleasant amber with a full, if not too deep head. The semi sweet malts and mild floral hop notes in the aroma carry through to the taste. A sweeter caramel flavour arrives as the beer warms in the glass which in turn hides the hop content somewhat, but overall my sweet tooth liked this brew even though I thought it was brewed elsewhere ( as the label intimated).
