Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear orange amber with a slight off-white head. Bready aroma with some light noble hop. Med body. Flavor is bready, but it’s sort of like a drink of water towards the finish. There’s a very small amount of hop bitter, but not much.

Copper colored beer with a white head. Really bland and watery aroma. Some bread, maybe a bit of toast, and a fair amount of grass. Light yeast, hints of metal, and a lot of "meh". The flavor is similarly boring. Watery and sweet. Bread, grain, and a touch of toast. Grassy hops, minimal bitterness, a touch of metal, and some yeast.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours clear medium copper with minimal off-white head and a lot of separate carbonation streams. Nose is grainy malt, mild hops. Tastes of grainy malt, hops, mild earthy and brown sugary notes. The palate is fairly dense, but this one is somewhat run-of-the-mill, and a bit underattenuated. Comes off like a poor man’s Boston Lager.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ughsmash (6669) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - APR 1, 2013
Bottled. Poured clear, bright orange with a short white head. The aroma picked up toasted fruit, honey, and light biscuity malts with detergent and dank pine accents.. OK. The flavor found honey and overly sweet fruity notes at the core, with light, grainy bitterness and tartness around.. finished tangy with fruit skins over biscuity malt. Light-bodied with a good feel from moderate carbonation on the palate.. not good per se, but very drinkable.
