3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Steverus0 (68) - Shreveport, Louisiana, USA - JAN 16, 2013This is a tasty but not overly complex amber with a robust mouthfeel. Not a lot to add here. Highly drinkable, great for the opening days of the summer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 deekyn (539) - Yosemite, California, USA - MAY 20, 2013
A- light and filtered gold that has a faint dirty white head that does not last. S- weak aroma overall that has just hints of malts, lager funk, floral notes and honey. M- weak, light palate and faintly effervescent with uninspired resin stickiness. T- resin and honey up front that morphs into a weak soda water mixed with malts. Suggestion of discount aisle stone fruit. Not overwhelming by any means, but an alright beer to end the night with. However, I'd rather have a fat tire to tie one off.

I had this last night. I could barely finish the pint. The taste was sour and had a metallic taste to it. I almost got sick! I had no idea who the brewer was until I did some research today. Well, it was Coors! This beer is really just Coors Original; I know that because I felt the same way after I drank it; Coors has got to be the worst beer that I have ever had, besides Budweiser! It’s a real shame, because at 1.00 per pint at Kroger it looked to be a great deal.
What is up with Coors? Why is it such a nasty beer?
Be forewarned!

Had this in a bottle at a friend’s party. A little more guts than normal for MC beers. Some light malt taste, hops hiding in the background. Not a bad session beer but nothing to really capture your attention. Probably MC’s best beer at this point so I’m disappointed they disguise the origin.

On tap in McFaddens NYC. Deep amber coloured beer with a head. Nothing much to smell. Some malty character, a bit of biscuit, and a rather forced and slightly metallicy bitterness (which I have found in a few American attempts at a Vienna). So nothing special but perfectly drinkable.

Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. It has a sweet, slightly piney (but very subtle) aroma. The taste is of bitter pine with some bitter malt near the end. Tasty!

Very weak aroma; just a hint of malt. Flavor is vaguely caramelly with a slight bit of hops. Not bad at first, but it becomes quite metallic - palate is not particularly pleasant at the end. Drinkable, but not by any means a tasty example of the style even while fitting the basic parameters. BMC clearly tried to ride the fence with this one, tilting toward the side of the macro crowd. This will likely not lead many people to craft beer - Samuel Adams Boston Lager is already the benchmark of the style, after all. I think this beverage is for people who are a little bored with the usual BMC offerings but don’t want the craft stuff.
