The American Wheat Ale is a clean, refreshing golden ale made with Northwest Two-Row and White Wheat Malts. A low hop character allows the grain flavors to dominate. Served unfiltered with or without a citrus balance (lemon wedge).

"the consensus for this beer was "eh". no, not the canadian pronunciation. what you’d expect from an average american wheat, no more, no less. refreshing when hot, boring otherwise. i’d prefer a hefe."

Draft at the brewpub. Light in color and body, decent but plain taste of slightly sour bubblegum. Served with a lemon wedge, so points off for that

Draft at brewery. Nose is grainy and a touch of citrus. Lightly crisp. Ok overall but nothing mind blowing. It’s a wheat beer.

Draft - Light grains and a bit of citrus. Pale clear gold with almost no head. Lots of grain and the euro skunky hops. Looks filtered and tastes like a euro lager.

On tap @ Third St Aleworks. Slightly hazed golden pour with a white head. Sweet grape and grain on the nose. Some apple, sugar, and grass. A bit papery on the tongue; quite astringent. Some sweet grain and fruit juice. Light sugar. Somewhat watery. Not a fan.

Damn good wheat. Great clove aroma. Cloudy carbonated, pure white head and lace. Excellent brew for a hot summer day.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2013 Tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy light orange pour with almost no head. Big wheat nose and taste, otherwise fairly bland. Ho hum.

Had on draft at the brewery. Wheat, doughy, grainy, fruity, not bad, clean with good yeast derived character

On tap at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. Pour is hazy orange with little to no head. Faint aroma - wheaty, skunky, slightly grassy, and biscuity. Taste is skunky, wheaty, lightly grassy, herbal, and straw with a lightly bitter finish. Light body with high carbonation. Poor wheat
