COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Several varieties of chocolate malt flavor this robust porter. Ours is a dark and malty version balanced with English East Kent Golding and Cascade hops. Served Unfiltered.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Deep red brown pour with tenacious white head. Aroma is faint, light grainy red malt aromas, toast, cherry, leather. Taste is malty, bready, a bit worty, sweet. Palate is light bodied with med carbonation.

Draft. Deepest brown with small tan head. Delicate coffee and caramel aroma. Pleasant rooty bitterness but not a whole lot else in the flavor makeup. Rather thin in body but crisp and welcoming of mass consumption.

From the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 13/10/2007 Fruit and roast aromas. Black fruity and a little rich on the palate. Some dryness in a crisp burnt roast finish.
