Keg at Third Street, Santa Rosa, 28/04/14. Golden with a good sized light beige/eggshell white covering that retains well. Nose is citric sherbets, toasted malt, hoppy waftings, light pine, bitter orange. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit strands, light mineral effect, straw, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Decent enough APA.

Sample at SF Beer Week Opening Gala 2014. (my first one from this brewery) Amber with a medium light tan head. Aroma and taste of hops, fruit, hay and caramel. On the sweet side with a light bitter finish. Drinkable.

Draft - Bright citrus hops. Pale gold with a decent white head. Grapefruit and pine with a nice pale malt sweetness to balance. This pale ale is more of an IPA than their others. A great if not big APA.

On tap @ Third St Aleworks. Light orange in color with a white head. Some grapefruit, oranges, and spicy hops. Notes of pine, peach, and sweet malt. Flavor is pretty decent, actually. A bit too sweet, but good fruit character. Some grapefruit, peach, and orange. Light pine bitterness. A bit of citrus pith.

Tap at the brewpub. Mostly clear orange pour with a small white head. Grapefruit nose. Floral and citrus hop taste. Finishes a bit bitter.

Poured a finger and half of head on a clear, dark straw colored body. The aroma is grapefruit, through and through. The taste is strong bitterness, a bit dry and all grapefruit again. The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation. It’s a strongly bitter pale ale and good for it.

On tap at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. Pour is clear orange with a small white head and decent lacing. Weedy, resiny, slightly biscuity, orange peel, straw, and citrusy aroma. Taste is grapefruity, orange peel, light grass, straw, piney, bready, and citrusy with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carboantion. Ok.

Aroma: Pine resin with a touch of citrus. Appearance: Slightly hazy gold/orange with fine beaded, stable, white head. Flavor: Malt, cedar and a dry papery finish. Palate: medium bodied Overall: Much better when served with a beer engine, not so memorable in the bottle.
