A true American Pale Ale, light golden color with clean malt flavors, and the refreshing aroma of Simcoe hops. Medium in body, aromatic, and very hoppy.

On tap. Pours honey color, white fluffy head. Aroma is intense citrus, lemon and orange peel, bit of grapefruit. Slight tropical fruits (pineapple) and slight pine character, and malt backbone. Flavor is tropical fruits, honey malt, bitter finish. Good except the carbonation is a bit weak for my liking. Otherwise a very good APA.

"apa that’s a world better than the boring Annadel Pale Ale. Bright vibrabt citra hops, full aroma and flavor. juicy. better than the ipa even...possibly the best thing on tap."

Draft at brewery. Nose is catty and lemon with some pine and citrus. Pour is very clear yellow. Taste is bitter and then shows off done hope grassiness. A very good beer.

Keg at Third Street, Santa Rosa, 28/04/14. Golden with a good sized light beige/eggshell white covering that retains well. Nose is citric sherbets, toasted malt, hoppy waftings, light pine, bitter orange. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit strands, light mineral effect, straw, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Decent enough APA.

Sample at SF Beer Week Opening Gala 2014. (my first one from this brewery) Amber with a medium light tan head. Aroma and taste of hops, fruit, hay and caramel. On the sweet side with a light bitter finish. Drinkable.

Draft - Bright citrus hops. Pale gold with a decent white head. Grapefruit and pine with a nice pale malt sweetness to balance. This pale ale is more of an IPA than their others. A great if not big APA.

On tap @ Third St Aleworks. Light orange in color with a white head. Some grapefruit, oranges, and spicy hops. Notes of pine, peach, and sweet malt. Flavor is pretty decent, actually. A bit too sweet, but good fruit character. Some grapefruit, peach, and orange. Light pine bitterness. A bit of citrus pith.

Tap at the brewpub. Mostly clear orange pour with a small white head. Grapefruit nose. Floral and citrus hop taste. Finishes a bit bitter.

Poured a finger and half of head on a clear, dark straw colored body. The aroma is grapefruit, through and through. The taste is strong bitterness, a bit dry and all grapefruit again. The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation. It’s a strongly bitter pale ale and good for it.
