COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a true brown, not only because if its color but because of its stringent adherence to the style guidelines; a real beer connoisseurs dream. The hop flavor and aroma is adequately full and assists the roasted malt flavors that are perceived on the palate. There is limited fruitiness and the body is appropriate.

Smooth to drink brown ale with excellent balance of sweet and malty flavors. Pairs well with chicken, and just about any food available at the average bar.

Bottle. Pours clear chestnut, small tan head, little lacing. Aroma is nutty caramel, toffee, grass. Flavor is the same, nutty, malty, medium sweet, little bitterness present. Some astringence, however, and a bit of a chemical aftertaste. Medium body.

Bottled. A red-brown beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wet hay, and chocolate, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Pours a nice brown color with a tan 2 finger head. Nice English aroma on the beer. Some nice maltiness with hints of smoke, wood and nuttiness. A hint of roasted malt. The taste is very similar to the nose but with a bit of hop astringency in the middle of the palate. Very nice beer. Very clean and sessionable.

Nice brown color with a nice head. Caramel and oats aroma. Caramel, bready flavor. Smooth and nice mouthfeel, medium bodied. Lingering aftertaste...

12 oz. gift bottle from neighbor’s last Minn. trip stash. Poured to a Czech-pils glass with fair clarity to the amber highlighted brown color, bubbles & froth head, and ribbony cling to the lacing. The nose was lightly roasted, caramel, with some soft creaminess. The f;lavor was moderately bitter, with a touch of black tea astringency, complementary, smooth malt, and presented some dryness that was tweaked by a hint of wood & smoke. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. A nice, uncomplicated American Brown.

Nice brown ale, with some great balance between malts and hops. Nutty but not peanutty, more of an almond taste. Nice, especially considering the lower ABV.

12 oz bottle. Brown pour with fairly then head. Nose and taste of malt, nuts, and a slight tinge of caramel. Actually tastes quite nice. Good lawnmower beer for those who are craving something less on the hop profile.
