3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Malty nose. Balanced beer that is very easy to drink. Not a very big beer at all but is solid. Caramel flavor is very nice.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a darker brown with mid-sized head. Roasted malt and hop aromas. Flavor is almost a touch on the sour side. There are coffee and roasted malt flavors, too, but undercut by this weirdly sour note (maybe I got a bad bottle?).

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2013 I didnít rate this beer on my first drink, but rather 6 months later after having a few more and I can honestly say I enjoy it more after some time has passed. Despite the claim that this beer is by the book, it does not taste like a traditional brown ale, and has more floral hop notes rather than being carried by the malt taste. Overall though Iím still not wowed but will most likely drink more in the future

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Murky brown. Chocolate aroma. Taste is roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and coffee. Pretty rich and nutty with a hop presence. A solid Brown.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Supplied by Tom. For whatever reason, I donít generally enjoy brown ales. But this one had just enough maltiness, just enough of that good nostalgic barnyard for my farming roots, and with a nice hint of bitter/citrus character at the end that the complexity intrigued me. Not sure Iíd pick up on my own, but sure would gladly accept if offered,

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ Bradís house. Pours a touch hazy, reddish brown appearance with a light brown head. Mild coffee, cocoa, vanilla, a touch nutty aroma. Chewy, nutty, Baby Ruth bar, chocolate, a bit earthy flavor. Not bad.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours deep dark brown with a short-lived head that reduces to a small ring and minimal lacing. Aroma is a sweet cola mix with flowers. Roasted, nutty flavor and aroma become more apparent as the drink warms up. Taste up front is sweet, with some hop bite going down. Taste overall is nice and has some dimension. The roasted flavors come through afterwards, with some coffee and nuts.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle. Unfiltered deep cherry brown. Thin, oily head. Sweet fruity brown malt aroma. This is a really solid brown ale. Sessionable, medium bodied, but still with lots of big malt tones and flavor. A mild touch of bitter hops up front fades into a delicious malty mouthfeel. Has some malty depth. Creamy and fresh, well done.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a medium-brown. Rather plain, some malts and a slight hint of hops. Another drinkable beer from Third Street but not as good as Bitter Neighbor.
