COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a special beer style that is a satisfying refresher. The light body and pale color results from the quality malt recipe and our famous Cold Spring water. The brew is mild both in aroma and taste, but has its own unique signature. The hop impact is not excessive and compliments the pale malt flavor profile. This is an easily drinkable beer that can satisfy at a session with friends.

Was turned onto this beer from the staff at Hops and Vines in Shakopee. It is an upgraded alterative to Spotted Cow. Since you can only buy Spotted cow in WI. Very sessional beer, smooth with slight tartness. can easly drink several of these beers on a hot day.

Easy to drink, slight malt finish. Really nothing to see here. Move along, move along.

You don’t find many Cream Ales. This is much like Spotted Cow but not as sweet, with more of a biscuity malt flavor up front. I found it nicely drinkable and refreshing.

Pours a light yellow with decent head. Aroma is mild, lightly sweet grain, maybe a little corn. Taste is grainy, slight lemon sweetness. Overall not a terrible taste, but thin all around.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours an unique golden yellow color with medium head. Nose is floral and grassy; flavor is malt, bread, grass; smooth mouthfeel. Drinkable and unique, similar to a hef.

12oz bottle, shared by beerpig317. Cornbread in the nose. Sort of a pale-ish clear golden color. Minimal white head. Few loose bits of lace. Clean, kind of corn-bready flavor. Light carbonation. Lighter body. Lightly dry finish. Pretty clean and easy-drinking. Kind of refreshing. Light bitter, more of a sweet taste. Pretty tasty cream ale, one of the better ones I’ve had.

Pours golden with lots of creamy white head. Some Grainy and creamy aromas and flavours. Otherwise pretty neutral beer. Smooth nonetheless.

Straw and gold color. Earthy, grass aroma. Malty taste but extremely mild. Nice and refreshing but not noteworthy.

Bottle. Pours slight hazy, yellow hue with a thin white head. Aromas of pale malt, some hint of corn, sweetness. Taste of corn, sweet, hint of citrus, somewhat chewy. A delectable light summer beer which is a nice alternative to a pilsner. Nothing flashy but for the style, really enjoyable. I like it better than New Glarus Spotted Cow which seems to be the signature cream ale in the Midwest. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A gift 12 oz. bottle from neighbor’s last Minn. trip stash. Poured to a Czech-pils glass with a hazed straw color, white bubbly & billowy head foam and clingy, lasting ribbons & spots of lacing. The nose was mildly sweet, light grain, a hint of corn, and light malt with biscuit/cracker scent. Light bodied with decent enough carbonation to keep the texture above watery, the flavor added low hop bitterness, with a crisp & dry finish. Clean and sessionable.
