Collaboration, unique ingredients and a whole lot of creativity and ingenuity will illuminate what we already know – our brewers are the heart of our brewery. Help us shine a light on these extraordinary team members by raising your glass (or bottle)… and share a Spotlight with us! COLOR: Deep Golden. ALCOHOL CONTENT: 7.3%. MALTS: Maris Otter & Carapils. DRY HOPS: Cascade, Bravo, Lemon Drop, Sorachi Ace & an experimental hop. From bottle. Pours a golden straw hue hint of copper with a thin white head. Aroma is subtle with a citrus hop, some tropical fruit, bready, and a little sweet malt. Taste is similar with citrus, floral notes, and a little pepper. Taste is not intensive compared to typical west coast style IPAs. Mouthfeel is light to medium with an above average carbonation. Finishes clean and pretty smooth with a subtle hop tones. Very drinkable IPA, almost session like. Surprisingly, pretty enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Gunflint Tavern. Clear orange pour, frothy 1/4 inch head and an aroma of clean & light orangey hops. Flavor is crisp medium/malty backbone and more light orange hops and finished slightly sweet. Well balanced and very enjoyable.

Piney/Resin Hops forward with mild citrus hops and caramel malts. Nothing too different but decent.

12oz bottle. Pours yellow with a slight orange cast, translucent. Slightly laced white head. Aroma is grassy hops. Taste is grass, bitter, slightly caramel finish.

Tap from New Bohemia. Pretty pale golden color and a heavy "hops sitting out on the floor in significant heat" smell. Taste is kind of funky leaning on the hops but with no real attempt at balance. The type of IPA people would point out as the reason they don?t drink beer. I?ll give it credit for lacing. One of those MN beers people overvalue because it?s local. Reach for Fulton, Indeed, or Harriet instead.

Pours a light yellow with average head and lacing. Aroma is malt dominant with very subtle hops. Taste has a little citrus, but again it’s pretty light and malt-heavy - although a better experience than most malt bombs. If this is really 7.3% then kudos on the drinkability.

Bottle shared with northropfrye. Pretty lemony colour. Luxurious head. Not very hoppy but refreshing nevertheless. I quite enjoy this beer.

Light lemon yellow body, some head, but not much. Decent nice citrus hop aroma. Taste is kind of underwhelming, some bitterness, but not a lot. A beginner IPA. Is this seriously 7.3%?

Bottle. Hazy bright orange pour with a small soapy white head. Nice citrus note with a hint of pine. Getting some orange. Taste is pleasant and flavorful. Not bad. Based on the very mixed reviews, I suspect inconsistencies in quality batch to batch.

Hazy gold. Fruity hop aroma. Flavor - Herbal resinous hops, some light tropical fruit and some biscuity malt. A bit thin and the bitterness is pretty subdued. Just ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a very bad beer. I took a few sips and poured it out. Tons of malts, no hops besides intense bitterness. Why make this beer and sell it when you know it sucks?
