Collaboration, unique ingredients and a whole lot of creativity and ingenuity will illuminate what we already know – our brewers are the heart of our brewery. Help us shine a light on these extraordinary team members by raising your glass (or bottle)… and share a Spotlight with us! COLOR: Deep Golden. ALCOHOL CONTENT: 7.3%. MALTS: Maris Otter & Carapils. DRY HOPS: Cascade, Bravo, Lemon Drop, Sorachi Ace & an experimental hop. From bottle. Pours a golden straw hue hint of copper with a thin white head. Aroma is subtle with a citrus hop, some tropical fruit, bready, and a little sweet malt. Taste is similar with citrus, floral notes, and a little pepper. Taste is not intensive compared to typical west coast style IPAs. Mouthfeel is light to medium with an above average carbonation. Finishes clean and pretty smooth with a subtle hop tones. Very drinkable IPA, almost session like. Surprisingly, pretty enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I tried one of these last fall and wasn’t too impressed. Having this one now super fresh and I’m pleasantly surprised. Amber color with a foamy off white head. Some bready malts and light citrus on the nose. Taste is super clean, tropical fruits with a nice malt balance. Kind of a cross between a west coast and English IPA.

On tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a clear amber orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma combines citrus with a bit of pine and light grains underlying. Flavor is more earthy pine with a bit of grass and some earthy grains backing.

Bottle. Pours a hazy lemon color with an OK lacing head. Hoppy aroma with some spruce in the background. Not complex, but delightful. Tart and hoppy in the flavor. Not overpowering, but nice. Grapefruit finish. A really nice IPA.

Tap from New Bohemia. Pretty pale golden color and a heavy "hops sitting out on the floor in significant heat" smell. Taste is kind of funky leaning on the hops but with no real attempt at balance. The type of IPA people would point out as the reason they don?t drink beer. I?ll give it credit for lacing. One of those MN beers people overvalue because it?s local. Reach for Fulton, Indeed, or Harriet instead.
