3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From bottle. Pours a golden straw hue hint of copper with a thin white head. Aroma is subtle with a citrus hop, some tropical fruit, bready, and a little sweet malt. Taste is similar with citrus, floral notes, and a little pepper. Taste is not intensive compared to typical west coast style IPAs. Mouthfeel is light to medium with an above average carbonation. Finishes clean and pretty smooth with a subtle hop tones. Very drinkable IPA, almost session like. Surprisingly, pretty enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy lemon color with an OK lacing head. Hoppy aroma with some spruce in the background. Not complex, but delightful. Tart and hoppy in the flavor. Not overpowering, but nice. Grapefruit finish. A really nice IPA.

Tap at Gunflint Tavern. Clear orange pour, frothy 1/4 inch head and an aroma of clean & light orangey hops. Flavor is crisp medium/malty backbone and more light orange hops and finished slightly sweet. Well balanced and very enjoyable.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap from New Bohemia. Pretty pale golden color and a heavy "hops sitting out on the floor in significant heat" smell. Taste is kind of funky leaning on the hops but with no real attempt at balance. The type of IPA people would point out as the reason they don?t drink beer. I?ll give it credit for lacing. One of those MN beers people overvalue because it?s local. Reach for Fulton, Indeed, or Harriet instead.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light yellow with average head and lacing. Aroma is malt dominant with very subtle hops. Taste has a little citrus, but again it’s pretty light and malt-heavy - although a better experience than most malt bombs. If this is really 7.3% then kudos on the drinkability.

Bottle shared with northropfrye. Pretty lemony colour. Luxurious head. Not very hoppy but refreshing nevertheless. I quite enjoy this beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light lemon yellow body, some head, but not much. Decent nice citrus hop aroma. Taste is kind of underwhelming, some bitterness, but not a lot. A beginner IPA. Is this seriously 7.3%?
