3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle from Beer Hawk - Hazy orangey brown body, medium white head. Nose is citrus, grapefruit, peach and a bit of ginger spice. Creamy mouthfeel, medium thickness. Sweet spicy tart flavour soon covered with a strong and spicy hop bouquet. Ends with a bitter-sweet finish and a bit of boozy warmth at the very end.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Brum. My first French dipa? Itís got some Belgian influence. Some heat. Itís fine, not a great dipa. itís got some good hop and some good bitterness on finish and itís not over the top, some Belgian yeast I think, some sweetness some syrupiness. A Flanders DIPA definitely.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
BOTTLE at Cave a bulles.
Head: off-white, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: amber, hazy.
Aroma: bitter herbs, some citrus/flowery notes in the background.
Taste: zesty, light citrus, very bitter.
Strong herbal bitterness. In my opinion, misses some malt sweetness to balance.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Gentle but rich malts are the beginning of the aroma followed by an almost minty note, a chunk of pine and a hint of orange. Restrained for style but very pleasant. Flavour adds a lingering rich caramel like note that nicely balances the not over powering bitterness. Doesnít have the aggressiveness of many DIPA style beers and is very well balanced.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 33 cl, BBE 10/2014. Pours hazy orange in color with a whitish head. Fruity lemon, sweet notes and
a bit of earthy and yeasty notes in aroma. Ripe fruity sweetness in taste at first. Easy to drink, no sign of the high abv. Slightly dry, feels a bit woody even at times. Orange peel and a bit of peppery
spicyness in aftertaste.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This beer has a thick white head, which surprised me, and is very, very hazy. Super-hoppy bitterness combines with thick body, and good malt sweetness to make an interesting, wonderfully rich sipper. The powerful malt eases the bitterness somewhat. Overall, a rather rugged, manly beer, rough yet with some sophistication.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at La Fine Mousse, Paris 22nd April 2013. This is a nice Beer, does not remind me of a Double IPA though, more a slightly hoppy, dry bitter beer, not enough floral hops and not enough mouth feel, overly carbonated, refreshing after a long walk around Paris
