The head is intensive, creamy and robust, the body brown and cloudy. It smells intensive hoppy creamy, hoppy-fruity, a bit bitter-fruity. The taste is hoppy intensive, creamy, a bit hoppy-creamy-alcoholic, maltaromatic, hoppy-aromatic-fruity and hoppy-bitter. In the aftertaste same but the bitterness is a bit more intensive. Nice beer!

Pours a hazy orange body with a fluffy, well-lasting head that leaves some lacing on the glass. The nose has sweet aromas of flowers, banana, resin, honey and honey melon. The taste is quite sweet and is balanced by a mildly bitter finish that lingers on the palate. Carbonation is quite soft and the mouthfeel is fairly rich and creamy. This is quite interesting, not a traditional DIPA but a very nice and original interpretation. Although it’s on the sweet side, it isn’t out of balance and the alcohol is well hidden, I like it.

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours hazy golden with a huge creamy white head. Aroma of malt, light hops, grass, flowers, light pine, some strange sweet parfumelike notes. Flavor is rather sweet, malt, hops, grass, flowers. Medium body, soft carbonation, lasting bitter finish. 170914

Bottle sample at DSG’s 5555 tasting at Sar Hamashkaot Ramat Gan. Thanks Dagan. DSG’s 5555th Rating. Pours yellow to orange with a medium beige head, aroma of diacetyl, bread, flavor is sweet and bitter with marmalade, medium bodied.

Bottle from Brasserie Thiriez in Esquelbecq. Lightly hazed amber with a tall white head.
Sharp hoppy aroma seems to suggest English noble more than high acid American strains: nutty, herbal, earthy, woody, etc. Slightly oxidized, faint banana esters and red apple cara malt plainness with a subtle sesame seed toastiness, poorly matched by an odd BO sweat note that may be the cat-piss Simcoe and Citra. Medium-full body, sweet, syrupy, low carbonation, hoppy and bitter, oily and green and vegetal in the finish.

India Pale Ale is not my type of beer, but this is fairly made. Lovers of this type should have a go.

Bottle. Orange hazy. Oranges, yeastyness on nose. Some citrus, candy, florals, corn. And malts. Full bodied, light oily. Sour oranges, or orange zest, sweet pale malts. Some belgyness. Bit messy, but ok. Not my thing tho. Too messy, too much pale malty corn.

Opaque orange yellow with off white lacing foam head. Aroma is nice hoppy, citrus present too. Likewise taste, good bitter beer with some citrus notes. Lasting bitter in aftertaste. (Velp 201408)

Bottled 12/06/14. An amber coloured beer with an off-white puddle of head. Good stuff. Lovely hops and great yeasty notes. A long full body and good boozy flavours. Tasty stuff.
