Cloudy greenish yellow with a big head. Aroma is very saison-like with lemons and light caramel. Pledge. Flavor is very hot, black pepper and chicken kiev. Very fizzy palate. Bottle from Mmmckay at the PreLabor Day Beer Tasting.

Pours a cloudy pale straw with fizzy carbonation and foamy white head. Aroma of hay, fresh cut grass, and fermenting lemons- funky for sho. Soft texture with a fine spritzy carbonation, webby lacing. Flavor of pale wheat malts countered by a herbal and spicy bitterness. Grassy and yeasty finish with some hints of white pepper. Not bad. Sort of like a light bodied hoppy Saison.

Pours a hazy golden with ample white head. Aroma of funky yeast, some hops, spice, a trace of apple. Similar taste, very mild with a nice dry hop finish. Lots of carbonation. The French are assholes, but I can dig this.

Bottle explodes in my hands upon opening. Absolutely gushes foam and fizz. Very cloudy and orange in color. Smells peppery, spicy, and green. Smells of crisp and freshly cut vegetables. Belgian style without a doubt. Vegetal flavor as well, but I don’t mind. This beer is unique and different which makes it worth trying. Not sessionable at all though.

Gusher when opened. Pillowy, white head with a hazy, golden body. Lemon, grass, toffee, some earth, anise. Flavor is much the same. Bitter, almost numbing. Interesting and enjoyable.

33cl Bottle, a birthday gift. Slightly hazy golden colour, dense white head. Aroma of bready malts, hops, light yeasty. Flavour is light sweet, chalky, hoppy, light yeasty, nice malty and hoppy bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft mouthfeel. It’s a bit like XX Bitter-light.
