COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

750 mL bottle. Pours a hazy light copper with a thick white head of foam that laces nicely. Grainy malt, citrusy and floral hop with plenty of musty cellar character on the nose. Crisp, bitter and dry. Light bodied but creamy with high carbonation. Similar to, but less complex than the blonde. Superbly sessionable.

Fruity hoppy and fruity yeasty aroma, hints of apricot, peach, a spicy yeasty touch as well. Taste is mildly bitter hoppy, slightly spicy yeasty, subtle fruity notes with hints of apricot, mirabelle. Nice.

Bottle (330 ml). Clear golden with a small mostly lasting white head and little lacing. Aroma is of breadied malt, a good amount of hops, mineral notes and light fruity notes. Taste is of breadied malt, mineral presence, peppery notes, light grapefruits and very light bitterness. Medium body. Good carbonation. Crisp. Very interesting beer. Drinkable aplenty and quite refreshing. Tasty. I’m not sure if the word "unique" is appropriate, but this beer definitely has it’s own personality.

Tap in Moeder Fontainas. Light, bright yellowy gold with a dense white head. Light hoppy aroma, appetising. Hints of yeast, citrus, floral hop. Subtle but definite bitterness in the finish. Plendid.

Bottle. Clear gold pour with small floatis, big lacy white head. Aroma is grassy, stale bready maltiness, wet hay. Taste is grainy, not very sweet, grassy bitterness, well hopped. The malt character is a bit blah, but the hoppiness is well done. Palate is dry, med body with light med carbonation. Could use more carbonation. Best beer so far on what is turning out to be a night of swill.

Lot. 397. Shared a 33cl bottle from Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon. Pours an almost clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is very subtle with malts and floral hops. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet with a long bitter and dry finish. Overall, a good beer.
