COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tap at Kerelshof, Cassel - thanks to Steve for sharing. Pours clear yellow with a fine,w hite foam head. Light grassy hops in the nose, some straw and mellow dough. Light to medium sweet flavor with moderate bitterness, some floral notes, doughy pale malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly well balanced to finish, nice hoppy, floral kick, restrained pale malt sweetness. Tasty.

Tap at the Kerelshoff II, thanks to Rilester for the split, 22/03/13. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a thin white head. Nose carries citrus, grass, herbal notes, touch of grapefruit. Taste comprises citurs, lemon, hops, grass, light spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish. A tidy enough Saison.

A very palatable beer. Tart but quaffable. Has that genuine ’farmhouse’ look and feel.

This isn’t bad, but nothing I would recommend. Taste and aroma are okay for the style. [short review due to it coming from my backlog]

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Yoav. End of bottle. Cloudy, weird, hay-like colour with white head. Cookie dough, raisins, jasmine aroma. Mildly bitter, lingering, some cucumber. Smooth texture, light-to-medium body, leafy green vegetable finish.

750 ml green bottle. Coarmy and slightly hazy golden yellow colour. Has a big green bottle funk aroma and a diaper note. It has a metallic taste and other than being carbonated and has a bit of bite to it, this is a rather boring brew.

Bottle at The Anderson. 18th taster out of 19 at Burns Festival, Jan 2013... hence the shortage of notes. Light body, with a combination of citrus and hop smells. Gentle finish, good smooth taste.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Yoav. Hazy blonde color. Yeasty aroma with overripe fruits. Sweetish fruity flavor, finishes with some hoppy bitterness with citric notes. Medium-bodied. Pretty easy-drinking.
