750ml green bottle. Lot 292. Golden pour, some haze, mousse-like white foam on top, good sticky edges. Nose has grasses and hay, slight lime or lemony hop as well. Taste is bready, some citrus sweetness in the middle then layer of grassy hop on top with an herbal edge. Mild yeast finishes it out. Green grassy aftertaste, citrus. Decent lasting bitterness, dries out nicely. Lots of carbonation, medium body. A nice saison.

Hazy colour that I can’t tell due to the fact the light switch is out of my reach. A slow pour is highly recommended. Grainy lemony grassy aroma that is very fresh, light spice and some fragrance that I’m too lazy to figure out. The taste is pretty good, enough hops that borderline on becoming too strong but hold perfectly, lemons, almost pine, white pepper, mild grains, I enjoyed this yet for me it is totally forgettable. Saisons just don’t excite me the way that a box of toe nail clippings from Gandhi would.

Big bottle. Big white head on cloudy dark yellow. May have stirred it up a bit. Looks pretty in my Chimay glass. Aroma of hops, spiciness and yeast. Aroma could belong to a number of different styles but implies a refreshing beer. Dusty body with nice character and strong hops. A summer beer that keeps your attention. Long dry hop aftertaste.

750ml capped bottle pours a pale golden orange color with a massive white head that settles slowly to reveal some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits and grains with bold grassy and herbal notes. Taste is light fruits and grains with a bold herbal and grassy hop bitterness in the finish with hints of yeast. Medium bodied with loads of carbonation leaving a nice mouthfeel. This is quite a tasty brew even though it doesn’t quite fit the style profile. I would almost call it a French IPA.

[bottle] a gentle pour from an unsettled bottle yields equal parts meringue-like head and a cloudy dark straw colored body. The aroma is floral hops right out front, followed closely by saison yeast. There is lots of lemon rind, a touch of isopropyl, yeasty bread dough, hints of acid, and a light herbal quality. The flavor is initially dry and bitter. The hops linger long after the sip. The carbonation is perfect and the beer feels quite soft in the mouth. The bitterness is just a touch out of balance, but not too bad. Nice saison. Definitely a beer to have fresh.

2*330 ml bottles bought in a mixpack and shared at tasting. Pours pale clear golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet, malty and tiny stale with yeasty esters, bread, cloves, allspice, white pepper and sweet fruits. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter, tiny sour and floral with yeasty esters, crackers, oatmeal cookies, orange peal, lemon zest, lemon balm, white pepper and allspice. Mouthfeel is crisp, slightly dry and light to medium body. Finish is sweet, tiny sour and tiny bitter with bread, orange peal and allspice. Nicely dry and drinkable.
