COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Sample at ÖÖWF 2011. It poured a hazy golden-yellow liquid with a white head. Smell of horse blanket, hops and sour. Similar taste but milder. Very nice for its style.

27/III/2012 - 33cl bottle from Abbaye des Saveurs (Lille) @ home - BB: III/13 (2012-293)

Clear orange beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: sweet almonds, cookies, bit sugary, grassy hops. MF: good carbon, medium body, soft creamy texture. Taste: pretty grassy, some vegetables, herbal, bitter hops. Aftertaste: little citric, dry bitter ending.

330ml bottle from La Cave à Bulle.
Appearance : Clear amber with small foamy head. Some lacing.
Aroma : Crisp and citrusy hops with floral notes. Light honey.
Taste : Citrusy hops with light honey, lots of cereals. Citrusy and malty finish with light bitterness. Sharp and crisp finish. Slightly resinous.
Overall : Similar to the Blonde but slightly less aromatic on the hops but a bit more bitter and resinous. Quite drinkable and refreshing. Quite elegant. Quite flavorful considering the low abv. Great beer.

Potverdikke (14) - SWEDEN - NOV 25, 2011
Bottle from brekeriets mixpack (systembolaget). There is something in the nose that turns me off. Some kind of combined hoppiness, maltiness and yeastinees that doesn’t go together. Taste is much better, nice hoppy taste with a bit of bite, but not too much. Nice aftertaste. If it wasn’t for the aroma, this would be a very nice beer.
