Clear golden body with off white and unstable head of small bubbles.Pleasant herbal and light spiced aroma, fresh grass from the hops, very light malts but enough clean yeast to give some base to this beer. Spicy taste profile, a herbal bitterness and more than expected. Has little body to build on, but I think it can get away with it. Herbal finish. Medium yet active carbonation. A bit different than expected; fairly clean and light base but with quite some classic hops, making it an interesting twist on a bier de garde/saison kind of style. Like the bretty feel to this. Very enjoyable. Man, I’m a sucker for well made saisons.. (33cl bottle from De Bierwinkel Leiden)

3fourths (8031) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 13, 2014
Bottle-conditioned 33cl from Brasserie Thiriez, dated 12/15, likely 12/13 bottling. Lightly hazed amber gold with a patchy white head.
Malty, yeasty nose of toasty baked crackers, candy sugar, wet / green / herbal Strisselspalt, dank basement, fruity pear and grape and green banana esters and a small dose of bubble gum. Medium-light body, semi-sweet to sweet, lightly acidic with good bitterness. Lively carbonation, fine and soft in the mouth. Rich house character, seemingly good shape, only a bit too much of a green banana nose, but otherwise it’s a fun beer.

Bottle. Slightly clouded amber-orange with a thin head. Has a tropical fruitiness that’s better stated in its nose, behind a medium to high bitterness.

Bottle. Yellow hazy, foamy. Belgy blond yeastyness, green, light citrus, fruityness, pale malts. Medium bodied, pale malty, some bitters, but soft. Ok belgian blond, but nothing too special.

330ml bottle @ La Capsule, Lille. I have no idea why I paid 6 euros for this. Pours hazy gold with frothy head. Nice enough hoppy blond taste with a little spice and moderate bitterness.

Bien.

330 mml bottle tasted on 12/06/2014. Hazy golden colour with a nice bubbly head. Aroma is spicy, hoppy and malty. The taste is balanced with notes of hops, bread and sweet. Light body and medium carbonation. Medium bitterness. Next one please!

Pours pale amber with a large lasting head. Nose shows spicy noble hops, faint vegetable notes, sweet light malt and spicy Belgian phenols. Similar flavours , quite hoppy with more spicy and grassy notes alongside light grainy malt. Good high carbonation works well.

Hazy hay. very Lively. Big head. Smells of resin, earth. Sweetness. Spicy and very hoppy. Powerful bitterness, especially for a saison.
