Aroma of a sweet hoppy, malts. It has a hazy golden color. Lightly sweet, hoppy, malty saison. Overall it has a decent flavor, but a bit lacking. Not bad but did not stand out.

Bottle on sale @ Wade’s Wines. Fucken a. Hazy straw pour with a big white head. Oh wow is this skunky. Grass, floral hops, and citrus peel. Some yeast, dough, and a bit of bread and biscuit. The flavor is fairly skunked as well. Grassy and floral hops. A touch of citrus, yeast, and sweet dough, biscuit, and bread.

Hazy gold with big, flotsam, white head, fine lacing / Nose of citrus, orchard fruit, yeast, little funk / Light to medium body, acidic, fruity but dry and finely balanced, with good, bitter finish / Delicate flavors of honey comb, orange, pear, white grape, resin, lavender, oak, cheese rind, chrysanthemum, straw, light barnyard / Terrific. This straw colored beer has it all and with such a low ABV. A great mixture of hops with the funkiness of a saison. Has a nice dryness to it. The hop bitterness is great. Very understated beer.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium white head...nice lacing. Aroma has some dusty fruits and very mild funk. Flavor has nice dry leathery notes, mildly spicy grapefruit, and dusty tropical fruits...rindy bitterness. Mouthfeel is light/medium and silky with a dry rindy/bitter finish that hints at fruit.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2013 bottle-conditioned 750ml. billowy white head atop a hazy gold body. fresh noble hop spiciness and green grass / fresh leaves, and cheese rind / must in the nose with lighter touches of toasted grains. medium-high bitterness, medium-high acid and dry throughout, it has wonderfully soft velvety carbonation and well-suited rustic must from the yeast; very farmhouse / barnyard in character. delicious. it took me a while to find a bottle in good shape. well worth it. Thiriez are proving themselves capable of producing farmhouse ales on-par with the best to come out of Belgium.
