4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled sample shared with oakbluff. Gold in colour with a fair bit of haze and strong carbonation. Strong and grassy noble hops on the nose, with a bit of pilsner malt on the back end. The hop profile reminds me of Victory Prima Pils or Sam Adams Noble Pils. Slightly more balanced in the mouth with the malts coming through a bit stronger. Some rustic spiciness from the yeast in there too, but in a far more restrained way than I had expected. Light bodied and bone dry, with a solid satisfying bitterness. Nothing crazy or over-the-top here, but the execution is virtually flawless. A great beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice and lite maybe my first from France. Pours a cloudy golden with a big head that disappears. The aroma is earthy and a bit sweet. the flavor has a touch of sourness, some of the earth and bread, and then you get a peppery touch from the hops. Nice dry finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a very hazy blonde color with a big head and some lace. The aroma is very perfume-y and has some light honey notes. There are plenty of earthy hops in the aroma as well. Smells kind of "rustic" in a way I canít describe better than that (but I wish I could). The flavor is dry and refreshingly bitter with a mild spicy and perfume-y character. The beer is earthy and rustic but delicately fruity as well. This stuff is delicious and I know I that this bottle isnít the freshest, Iíll make it a point to find one thatís in better condition because I think it would be pretty damned amazing.
