Bottle: Poured a dirty beige color ale with a huge pure white foamy head with perfect retention and great lacing. Aroma of funky notes with some dry and bitter English style hops. Taste is also a weird mix between some funky farmhouse style ester with some dry notes coming from the English style hops with a nice Belgian style malt backbone. Full body with limited filtration and great carbonation. Very different but interesting experiment in the end.

On tap at Lord Hobo, Cambridge, MA. Clear pale gold with a white head. Aroma has a lager-like quality, with a bit of skunk, floral notes, grass, and spice. Flavor is similar to aroma, with additional spice and some funkiness. Has a dry finish. Not bad.

Hazy golden amber pour. Big white head. Plenty of lacing. Huge skunky aroma that slowly gives way to a nice malt note. Hard to get past the skunk though. Big chewy malt flavor. Bitter.

Bottle as pictured. Had no idea what to expect but came away very impressed. Might use the Dupont yeast? Definitely has a bit of a barnyard funk feel to it, but smooth. Lovely European saison.

4 oz draft pour at The Sovereign as a welcoming gift for the preview event. Golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of floral notes, biscuit, herbs. Tastes of floral notes, malt, citrus, herbs, spices. Almost like a cross between an IPA and saison.

Great aroma with honey and floral notes that carries through to the taste. Some grassy hoppy flavors mingle through the flavor. Pours a golden color with minimal white head. Overall pretty solid, but the taste, while balanced, is a little thin.

How: Bottle (750 ml) at Hill Farmstead tasting room. Split 2-ways with Franky Boy.

>>> Textbook classic Saison that is up against the best. Peppery, herbal, dry and quenching.

- Hazy orangey with a frothy white head, good retention and some lacing.
- Thiriez yeast is the first thing you get along strong herbal and peppery presence.
- There’s a very nice farmhouse character similar to what you can find in some Blaugies or Dupont and that we almost never get this side of the pond.
- Breadied malts, chewy cereals and caramel give this beer a solid malt backbone.
- The dry and peppery finish add to the quenching character of this beer.

Flavors: Thiriez yeast, pepper, herbal notes, breadied malt, cereals, caramel, mild citrus.

On draft at Isaacs. Notes of Bread, grass, flower, hop, citrus and sour notes. Finish was sour with straw and hay. It was surprisingly good.

Pours a golden-yellow with good fluffy white head. Nice earthy aroma of fresh hops, yeast and spices. Tastes of floral hops and spices with some yeast and citrus fruit. Medium bodied. Good carbonation.

Wonderfully done. The perfect mix between hay aroma, light citrus and a hint of pepper. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Light bitter finish with a touch of tang. Tap at Churchkey.

750 ml bottle. Super good! I cracked this one open and my wife looked at me and said "What smells like weed?" Definitely has some dank, grassy notes on the nose. Taste is hoppy and dry, but with a surprising rich and full quality that you don’t usually get in a 4.5%er. Floral hops, light grain with a touch of bread and honey, light yeast. I could drink this all day.
