Bottle. Hazy gold pour with compact white head. Aroma is pleasant, light grainyness, pepper, something grassy, fresh hay. Taste is grainy, bready, sweet flavors with a pleasantly bitter finish. Palate is clean, dry, light-medium bodied with good carb. Solid little farmhouse ale, super easy drinking and more importantly still, doesn’t suck because it’s organic.

Bottle that was about 2 years past its drink-by. Will still rate it, because it was good and interesting that way. Cloudy blonde with a nice low head. Big grapefruit nose, barnyard funkiness which certainly came with aging. Light malts as well. Tart, citrus flavors, not much hops left at all, but barnyard and some sweet bready malts. Crisp, light body. This made me think about the whole deal with BA saisons. They taste like this fresh, but with more hops. This truly is an agable beer.

750cl bottle. Starts to ooze out slowly as soon as you crack the cap. Pours a yellowy orange with a very large, white head. The glass is mostly head. Only a dab of beer at the bottom. The bottle is green glass so the aroma is a bit skunky, but fortunately that recedes fairly quickly. The rest is rather yeasty with quite a bit of pale malts, some spiciness and herbal aroma there as well. Taste is a lot of pale malts, quite spicy, lightly sweet, lightly sour. Quite a bit of herbal flavor on the finish. Light with decent carbonation. Good with food.

Sampled draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Lightly hazy golden with a fluffy white head. Nose is huge on barn, lots of white pepper, wild herbs, almost funky, touch EU hops,… Taste is spices, barn, rustic, white pepper, slightly fruity with some spices, hay, tangy yeast and light citrus. Smooth, slightly oily, very easy to drink. Another beer which I tought was very good but has very low rating eh whatever.

Bierfestival Oirschot 2011, goudkleurig, ruikt en smaakt fruitig, mout, beetje hoppig, graan. Een beetje gewoontjes.

Misty golden body with stable creamy white head. Looks good. Fruity yeast of apples and peach candy, light pale malts, white bread and some sweet hops. Moderate bitterness, dry ending with a creamy mouth feel to balance that. Bit of pepper in the middle makes this somewhat interesting. Well brewed, quality ingredients. Accessible taste with a light spicy twist and creamy mouth feel. Decent brew, not exactly my kind of thing. (33cl bottle from Au Nom De La Bière)

bottle from saveur-biere.com. Hazy to cloudy pale yellow colour, fluffy white head. Aroma of lovely floral hops. Medium-bodied with a very pleasant malt base, slightly grainy, but elegant and light. Lots of floral, slightly perfumy hops with a grassy-resiny touch and even a touch of citrus fruit. Quite complex yet highly drinkable and very, very moreish.
