12oz draught at Underground. 6.5% abv on the menu here. Gold colour, fairly clear but there might be some haze, not in a well lit spot. White head on top, pretty sticky foam with a tight bead. Aroma has big fruitiness, orangey, some sweetness, yeasty. Taste has more orange and citrus notes, fruity and yeasty, bit of grass and biscuit and grain. Drier end with minerals and yeast notes. Medium body, light mouthfeel. Good Saison, some interesting yeast notes.

Fresh 750ml bottle. Aroma of rustic wet grass. Somewhat vegetal Play dough is a tad strange. Wet hay. Fog. Unique. Effervescent. Taste is wild flowers and wet rustic grass. Kind of biere de garde esque. Some pleasant grassy hops. Complex. Quite rustic. Neat. Like.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2013 6,5% ABV 33cl bottle. Pours an orange amber with a white blanket of a head. Aroma is light. Fruity with peach, pear and apricot, slightly yeast. Taste is fairly sweet with caramel and the aforementioned fruits. Strongly peach and apricot as well as pear, fermented and otherwise. Dries up with herbalness and spiciness. Palate is quite full with strong carbonation. Better pour aggressively. More of a Belgian ale than a saison to my taste, but that all depends on where exactly one draws the line.

Average tasting Belgian style blonde ale, with a hoppy slightly lager like taste, ok but not memorable

Dark ring of yeast around the neck. Pours rich gold with effervescent appearance with the formation of very large bubbles. Nose is a wonderfully complex blend of flowers, spicy hops, sly easy spice, earth herbs, and sweet fruits. Flavor is extremely earthy, spices, very peppery, almost a sweetness that is mellowed by lively carbonation and a heavy peppery finish. Light body. no alcohol flavors are evident. Good overall. Great aroma, and an interesting earthy fruity notes come out in the flavor.

Nice little saison, very drinkable, my taste buds are not with it but I’m enjoying this. I don’t want to stop drinking but I know that the stuff left in my cupboard needs me at my best.

330ml bottle at 6.5%. Pours dark gold with a large head. Aroma is yeasty and grassy, with a subtle raisin and spice. Taste has some banana and spice to start and a yeasty finish.
