3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark ring of yeast around the neck. Pours rich gold with effervescent appearance with the formation of very large bubbles. Nose is a wonderfully complex blend of flowers, spicy hops, sly easy spice, earth herbs, and sweet fruits. Flavor is extremely earthy, spices, very peppery, almost a sweetness that is mellowed by lively carbonation and a heavy peppery finish. Light body. no alcohol flavors are evident. Good overall. Great aroma, and an interesting earthy fruity notes come out in the flavor.

Nice little saison, very drinkable, my taste buds are not with it but I’m enjoying this. I don’t want to stop drinking but I know that the stuff left in my cupboard needs me at my best.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light copper body with pearl white head. Mild, classic hops, accessible light malts, bit of hay. Very moderate. Tasty light bitter base, drinkable palate but unimaginative. Active carbonation. It’s a well drinkable beer but not enough character to justify its existence between all those French (and Belgian!) blondes. This brewer can do better, I know.
