Pours amber with a large white head. Nose shows Belgian yeast, spicy phenols, noble hops with spicy and floral notes, honey and light sweet bready malt. Similar flavours. Novle hops, spicy Belgian notes, light candi characters and some bready malt. Carbonation is perhaps a little high.

330ml bottle@6.5%, lot 402. Pours hazed brass with an audibly fizzing white cap. Wine gum and jasmine on the nose with lime-squirted chick pea and the citrus of hops and coriander seed. Strong prickling flavour of temples and patchouli incense ash with demented yeast and musty spice cupboard. Mid-bitter finish with big hop bite for style. Dirty dishcloth lowlands hops. Bonus point for sheer weirdness and drinkability. Out there.

Bottled from Lekkerbier at 6.5% ABV, BB12/2013, large sample, served in a trappist glass. Pours a clear golden color with some small debris floating around and small to medium lasting frothy slight off-white head, leaving some lacing. Aroma is quite spicy, bit coriander and orange, slight peppery, bit citrus, bit grainy (hint of wheat?), slight caramel note. Bit sweet in taste, slight bitter. Finishes more towards the bitter, where the initial taste is more fruity sweetness. Medium carbonation, medium body. Nice stuff.

shaynsawchuk (681) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - APR 23, 2014
330 mL bottle. Cloudy, light to medium copper with a spritzy foam of white head. Perfumey nose with floral notes, zesty lemon, mild grainy, bready malt, spicy Old World hops and a hint of mossy barnyard. Incredibly dry, the malt is perceivable, but somehow not sweet at all. Bitey hop tinged finish. Light to medium body but with a very creamy palate. Full carbonation. Lingers long and complex.
