mickut (276) - Espoo, FINLAND - MAR 14, 2010
Bottle. Pours clear, very dark brown with tan head, some clumpy sediment in bottle. Taste is lightly sweet. Palate has a medium body, a bit thin texture and a lightly metallic finish. Aromas have caramel, licorice and nuttyness.

Lubiere (10147) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 23, 2010
A dark clear brown ale with a thin moka head. A nice pleasant aroma of earthy ground cherries, volatile acids, veering on Duchesse de Bourgogne. In mouth, a bit lighter than expected with faint sweet malt, a bit of sourness, but overall a bit dull, lacks the intensity of Belgian Flemish sours. Bieropholie, BB April 2009.

rosenbergh (7051) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 1, 2010
330 ml bottle. Finland.
Dark reddish brown almost black colour with small frothy light tan head. Strange aroma has some malt but also soy and fish furnet in it. Lots of spices, mild malt, mild bitter hops and salt in flavour. Quite interesting character but not necessarily that good.

Lalli (243) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 27, 2010
Bottle. Color is very dark, almost black. The aroma is rather sour with a metallic touch to it, also a bit of milk and roasted malts. Not really my kind of a brew.

Miksu (4948) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - APR 16, 2010
0.33 l bottle from Alko. Almost black dark brown color. Roasty, very fruity and lemony aroma with burnt black currant, nuts and spicy wood. Dry tart, charcoaly, salty, fruity, woody and peppery flavor. Salty and charcoaly finish. Like a mix of stout and saison, tart belgian yeast and roasted malts are not completely in balance here.

Archibaldo de la Cruz (1122) - FINLAND - MAR 17, 2010
Bottle. Dark brown colour with a lasting medium-sized tan head. Malt, vinegar and spices in the nose. The flavour is slightly sweet and sour with notes of malt, juniper berries and some spices. Light to medium-bodied and quite carbonated.

TET (1687) - FINLAND - MAR 6, 2010
Very dark brown beer with weak and beige head. Aroma is weird, roasted, malts, some sweetness and unpleasant vegetables. Flavour is better than aroma, some roastiness, sweetness and spiciness, but again vegetabless can be found in the end. Balanced and nice to drink. Weird, unpure beer; I don’t try this again.

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 11/20
mikkopen (854) - Oulu, FINLAND - MAR 26, 2010
330 ml bottle. Deep dark brown colour, thin beige head. The aroma is roasted, slightly sour, with some chocolate and berries. The flavour is a bit odd, roasted and sour, with notes of berries and vinegar, and an ashy finish. Interesting, but not very pleasant.
