Brown body, tanned head. Aroma has some caramel, hops and spices. Some roasted notes. Quite light texture. Strange, but not favourite.

Bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours dark brown with a slight red edge. Fizzy, light-beige head. Low duration. Aroma has lots of spices, cinnamon, coriander, light pepper. Behind it, there are roasted malts, Belgian sugar and a liqourice edge. High carbonation, relatively thin mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, light sweetness. Fairly roasted, good liqourice. There is still loads of cinnamon in there. Long, dry, herbal, spicy finish.

Pours very dark brown with a light head. Aroma is citrus, yeast and malts. Flavor is malts, malt porridge and strong citrus in the finish. Quite peculiar but also good.

Bottled. Very dark brown colour with small brownish head. Very sour aroma reminds me of Fernet-Branca. Roasty taste is like the aroma with fruity notes, quite special. Decent medium body. Not a beer for beginners because of the sourness.

33cl bottle, Alko. Poured black with a frothy beige head. Aroma is rye and soury , taste is very malty, coffee, and quite sour. Didn´t really like this one.

Bottle from some Alko near the train station in Helsinki. Poured a black body tinged with red with a thick tan head that went away slowly. Sweet complex malty nose, soft, carrot, some dust. Light acidic vinuous taste fighting with some underlying roastiness, a bit creamy. Maybe some raisins. Nice in a way.

Pours a very dark brown-red with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and some berries, along with a slightly acid aroma. Taste is sour in a vinegary sort of way, which doesn’t blend very well with the roasted malts.

Rune (9500) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 17, 2010
Thanks to Finn for a 330ml bottle of this one. The pour reveals a slowly fading, fawn-coloured head atop of a near-black body with a russet shade. Herbal malts to the nose added by some kind of roasted tartness. Ashy and oaky in flavour with notes of spiced malts and tart berries. Increasingly bitterness to a short lived ending. Rather thin in the mouth. Unusual and in danger of leaving an inharmonious impression (Tromsø, 16.04.2010).

Miksu (5027) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - APR 16, 2010
0.33 l bottle from Alko. Almost black dark brown color. Roasty, very fruity and lemony aroma with burnt black currant, nuts and spicy wood. Dry tart, charcoaly, salty, fruity, woody and peppery flavor. Salty and charcoaly finish. Like a mix of stout and saison, tart belgian yeast and roasted malts are not completely in balance here.
