3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
weakly acidic, flavorful but watery palate detracts. smells a bit like acetic vinegar plus stone fruit. ok, but only once. from the top paris bottle shop.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very dark brown beer with weak and beige head. Aroma is weird, roasted, malts, some sweetness and unpleasant vegetables. Flavour is better than aroma, some roastiness, sweetness and spiciness, but again vegetabless can be found in the end. Balanced and nice to drink. Weird, unpure beer; I don’t try this again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (Utobeer): Deep ruby black with a short but lasting tan head. Nice roast aroma, sweet choc and dry malts with a touch of spice. Quite like a porter.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle BBE 02/11. The beer tries to get out as soon as you crack it open. Pours an auburn-tinged, very dark brown, almost black with a large and thick, latteish head. Aroma begins sour with berries, red currant, rowan berries, slight vinegar, some tones of sweet maltiness. Later evens out into sweet maltiness with some roastedness and herbal hops in there. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, notes of sour berries. Aftertaste is malty, slighty herbal and woody, some cardboard can be detected at times. Palate is somewhat carbonated, medium and a little thin.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle. Dark brown with medium, lightly tanned head. Nose : cheese, yeast, smoke, black chocolate. Nuts. Sip : medium thick and creamy, low carbonation. Moderately sweet start collapses under delicate smoky flavour of black chocolate, clove and cooked fruits that develops a gentile dry ending. It’s a nice porter if one enjoys smoked, torrified malts and dry finish. OK.

Dark and hazy. Peculiar spicy aroma. Flavour of roasted malts and more spices. Dry and a little sour.
