3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle. Dark brown with medium, lightly tanned head. Nose : cheese, yeast, smoke, black chocolate. Nuts. Sip : medium thick and creamy, low carbonation. Moderately sweet start collapses under delicate smoky flavour of black chocolate, clove and cooked fruits that develops a gentile dry ending. It’s a nice porter if one enjoys smoked, torrified malts and dry finish. OK.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
330 ml bottle. Deep dark brown colour, thin beige head. The aroma is roasted, slightly sour, with some chocolate and berries. The flavour is a bit odd, roasted and sour, with notes of berries and vinegar, and an ashy finish. Interesting, but not very pleasant.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. Very dark brown colour with small brownish head. Very sour aroma reminds me of Fernet-Branca. Roasty taste is like the aroma with fruity notes, quite special. Decent medium body. Not a beer for beginners because of the sourness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very dark red, thick noisy crackling beige head. Aroma - heavy balsamic. Moderate carbonation. Light tartness, light-medium sweetness. Vinegar doesn’t come through as much in the flavor as the nose suggested (relief). This bottle held up surprisingly well after 3 years. Still drinkable, tasty even.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a very dark brown-red with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and some berries, along with a slightly acid aroma. Taste is sour in a vinegary sort of way, which doesn’t blend very well with the roasted malts.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
An interesting beer this. Certainly in the flanders brown style but without a really obvious lactic character. There is some light roasty notes and fuity esters there making this a moderately complex beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml thanks to bu11zeye. Tasted "blind"--Not knowing it was a porter. Poured a dark brown, ruby highlit body with a bubbly, lasting head. Aroma is slightly medicinal, fruity, grapes and malty. Flavor is fruity, light red wine sourness, floral, grainy hops. Medium/full mouthfeel with active, lively carbonation. Interesting...
