Collaboration with Jester King, itís the "sister" of Le Petit Prince; brewed at Thiriez, same recipe, different malt and hop suppliers, and different yeast.

Lot 335 12/2013. pale color with white head, hoppy aroma, quite a full taste for such a light beer. dry and hoppy finish. You can still taste the hops in your mouth after you swallow. Good beer !

Tap at Les Trois 8--big fan of Le Petit Prince, so was excited to try this. Pours a cloudy, luminous yellow with massive milkshake-like head. Aroma: wow. Grassy hops and big Brett funk with slight tartness, crockery malt, citrus. Taste is full-bodied, fresh, yeasty: dry banana, spice, Brett, bready malt, oats, lemony tartness. Full-bodied and creamy. Brett-y in an aged Boulevard Saison Brett kind of way. One of the best and freshest session beers Iíve tried, and a must-try if on tap.

Bottle: Served in a shaker: Medium to bigger sized white foamy head on top of a hazy to murky yellow colored beer. Aroma is like that of a Witbier: wheat, yeast, herbs, coriander, tea herbs, some soap, light malty and some white pepper. Flavours of bitters, yeast, herbs, some floral tones, wheat, light malts, some plants, tea herbs, nettle and some skunk/marijuana tones. Aftertaste is bitter, floral, yeast and some herbs, plants and green grass. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light creamy texture. Decent beer.

Bottle: Poured a pale hazy beige color ale with a relatively large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of bready yeast with some floral hay notes is very enticing. Taste is a very drinkable mix of bready yeast with some light Belgian malt with a dry hay finish. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation. Nice complex beer with good drinkability and low ABV. Where do I sign-up for more of this?

Bottle at Ottawa crewís March tasting courtesy of Luc. For me this was the star of the show - poured a murky yellow with a white head and I could have smelt it for hours. Amazingly fresh and light saison aroma with a nice combination of pepper, grass, lemons, some orange, light malt profile in the background and a slight funk. Moderate body and carbonation, dry, complex, and amazing.

Bottle from saveur-biere.com Pours very clear blonde ( actually looks wattery ) with a very big, but fast fading white head . Intense, grainy , lager-ish smell . But in a good way ( grainy ) Good carbonation . Taste has malts, thin bitterness, some grains, some hay even . No clue wether this is low or high fermentation, but Iím pretty sure -tastewise - itís low fermentation . Easy drinkable, as to be expected . Nice amount of and a good taste , but not nearly the best low ABV iíve had .

Bottle (330 ml). Slightly hazy yellow/golden with a medium persistent white head and little lacing. Aroma is grainy with some spices and fruity hops. Taste is also mainly of grains along fruity hops, herbal notes and a touch of spices. Light body. Medium carbonation. Dry finish. Tasty for such a low abv beer. Refreshing and drinkable. Itís nice to see more of these quality low abv beers on the market. Good!

Thanks to Lubiere for this. Pretty amazing that a beer this complex comes with just a 2.9% price tag. Pours cloudy straw yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is grain, corn and straw. Taste is some straw and grainy malt profile with some clove and dry yeast finish.

Hazy pale blond with thin soapy head. Strong aroma of pale malts together with citrusy hops and yeast. Body is light and a little watery but thereís a solid punch of citrusy hops. Has a tart and bitter taste which is very refreshing.
