From the bottle in Paris, November 2006. Rather dark reddish brown. Opaque, with yeast. Not a very big head. Fresh aroma of malt and yeast, chocolate, figs, raisins. Nicely roasted. Slight caramel sweetness, but more dry. Coffee. Subtle overall, with a dry hop and roasted malt finish. Lasts a while, though not really strong. A very interesting, enjoyable beer. Good stuff.

Bottle, 33 cl. (from Mi Orge Mi houblon) Hazy, dark amber red , with big beige head. Aroma some caramel, fruity, malts. Medium body. Taste sweet, malts, little yeast, fruit touch. Finish = good bitter. Not bad.

(Bottle) Pours a cloudy amber brown body with a seriously aggressive tall beige head. Aroma of leather, wet hay, cow manure, and floral. Flavor of sour funkiness, melon, caramel malt, and toffee.

33 cl bottle. Slightly hazy, dark red mahogany, small beige head. Nose of lactic acid and caramel perfumed with strawberries. Taste is then much less acidic than expected - malty sweetish with a cinnamon (or even coriander?) -like touch. Bitter finish, round mouthfeel.

75 cL bottle, there is a cow on the red label - why? Pours hazy deep orange with a slight off-white head. Aroma is mild yeasty and malty. Flavour is light metallic to a distinct dry malt base. Holds a light dry breadish note. Ends light fruity yeasty with a mild bitterness just lurking through. Decent to good brew.

Pours a deep hazy reddish amber with a huge three finger head that almost came out of the glass. Retention is fantastic and the head hung around for ages leaving some pretty good lacing. Smell is of sour cherries and bready malt with a little sweetness (maybe caramel). Taste is slightly tart with apricots, cherries and a heavy dose of sugar. There are also some spiciness in the taste though it’s not easy to determine which ones. The mouthfeel is fairly light and crisp with a definite pucker of the lips present. This is an interesting beer and I’m glad I tried it, but it’s probably an average belgian ale, all in all.

Bottle @ Mondial 2008. Aroma is a funky, sour/tart invitation, cloudy orange/red, with a small cream head further entices me. The flavour is sour/tart fruit, with some lovely candied malt, Light bodied, very dry, yet so refreshing. Lovely, unique example!
