A Mes rate: 33cl bottle thanks to Ethereal.
Cloudy amber with a thin fizzy head. Sweet sickly malt and caramel aroma. Much too sweet in the flavour. Lots of toffee and a tart sugary finish. Careful pour leading to a full glass of head points to infected beer. Not great.

Bottle: Poured a amber caramel like color with an off white head with lots of lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel and malt. Taste is a mild acidic with a sugary caramel malt touch.

From the bottle @ Bruxellensis. Dark amber with a missing head. Very malty nose with caramel, quite strong like malt extracts (not suggesting they brew with them, but that’s how strong I found the aroma). Tastes quite grainy and a touch sweet, with notes of maple, caramel, then turns mildly bitter and quite dry. Nice, but I can’t shake that caramel candy out of my nose.

10/18/05 750 ml.lot#1178 Bootlegger Paris. Amber brown with massive creamy head. Pleasant hoppy floral aroma. Mild hoppy bland taste doesn’t live up to aroma.

750ml bottle. Many thanks to my friend Camille for supplying this. Pours a red amber colour, with a small head. The aroma is mainly malted barley and yeast notes, the flavour moves interestingly from sweet to bitter as you drink and there are some tasty hints of dried apricots. However, the finish is not overly pleasant and I would rate this beer as enjoyed but flawed.

Gusher with a huge frothy head. Malty, nutty aroma and flavor. Nutmeg. Very well balanced beer with character.

Bottle purchased at La Cave à Bulles in Paris. Poured a hazy brown color. Head was thin and off white. Aroma was of apple and malty caramel. Flavor was similar with the addition of a white wine note.
