Bottle, BBE August 2007 Clear, brown-reddish colour. Off-white fizzy head. Aroma of malts with some spices: quite good. Quite bitter flavour, not very intense bitter, but no sweetness or sourness present. Some soapyness is floating underneath the bitterness. The balance and complexity are lacking a bit. All these remarks are making the beer less enjoyable.

dark and cloudy reddish-amber colour, almost no foam remaining; aroma of raspberry marmelade; sweet and sticky, some sweetness barely hidden by the high carbonation; some residual sweetness in the finish along with more red fruity notes

Draught at Bruxellensis Festival. Dark brown/red. Thick lasting beige head. Caramel, buttery, not great. Some hop on finish. But mostly its butter.

(Bottled) Murky brown color with a small, tight head. Spicy, crisply hoppy aroma with ashes. Ashy, dryish flavor with bitter, pilsenery hops, mild acidity and some dried-fruitiness. Some alcohol present. Medium-bodied palate with slightly foamy carbonation. A nice, ashy and unfiltered pilsener.

Draught - Bruxellensis - A chestnut coloured beer with a hint of red. The aroma is malty with some berry fruit. The taste is also berry fruits. Quite English in character with some late sourness.

Draught Brown beer with orange highlights; small yellow-orange consistent head. Bit (chest)nutty, caramel, and traces of diacetyl, buttery. Sweet, nearly lemonade-like. Diacetyl, but not really imposing, but sweetness is close to cloying. Buttery feel, medium bodied at best. Not very impressive. Least of the Thiriez beers, so far.

Unfiltered pale ale. Quite muddy and yeasty. Some sweetness in the swallow. Minimal hop character. Tastes quite old and stale, despite (or because of?) the yeast. Mild faint chocolate. Drinkable, and mildly interesting.

Hazy copper, big fat head, lots of little floaties. Sweet millky caramel aroma with minerals and hops. Thin in body with some astringency. Earthy, borderline dirty flavor, a bit peppery. Has some distinct elements but overall doesn’t come together.
