750ml (Alvinne webshop) - shared with The Beer Sommelier - thanks!
7 Beautifully sweet fruity aroma, some ripe apple.
4 Lovely rich reddy brown, full beige head, settles to a ring.
7 Sweet woody taste, some dry sweet hazelnut, again sweet apple. Beautifully mellow.
4 Super smooth palate, sweetish, gentle carbonation. Gentle woody finish. 14 This one ’garde’d very well. Not getting sourness that others were unfortunate to get, and if anything the mellowness of the whoe experience was the highlight. No shocks, no thrills, just lovely tasty sweetish woody ale.

Brandman (2824) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 23, 2011
Dark red to brown body, offwhite head. Aroma has vinegar, sour chocolate tart. Good though, but feels like that’s not supposed to be there. Light and smooth. Some caramelly malts.

Quack-Duck (9110) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 31, 2011
bottle, delivered by jaghana - merci beaucoup! Cloudy amber-brownish colour, large and fluffy beige head. Fruity-hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, malty base with some roasted malts and a nice fruitiness, mainly berries. Hints of forest, wet leaves, very interesting. The roast flavours together with the fruitiness reminds me slightly of some darker English bitters.

jaghana (5380) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - JUL 12, 2011
Bottle 33cl, a cloudy amber-red beer with a creamy head. Nose is on fruit, raspberry and yeast. Aroma is malty with a dry fruit body, very easy drinkable, no sour notes as expected by the beer name, peppery hops at the finish. Fruit side is nice and do remain in the mouse and without acidity which is pleasant, some chocolate malt hints on aftertaste.

Grima (2230) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - JUL 3, 2011
The beer in the glass is dark copper-brown with good opacity. The head is fine, creamy and medium high. The smell is very fruity and sour, sometimes biting in the nose, smells like a rotten Wit beer. It starts more pleasant then expected. Fruity and tart, with a pronounced sour note, a subtle mustiness is unfortunately spreading. The finish is fruity fermented, with strong bitter malt aroma. The further course remains malty, bitter, fermented fruit and, unfortunately, the mustiness is conserved!
