A deep red beer with a fast disappearing head. The aroma is sweet with hints of berries. The flavor is light nice sweet flavor with berry notes. A very fine flavor.

(Bottle 75 cl) "The red cow-beer" the Danish importer calls this - with a developed sense for poetry... Well, the label may not aspire to much sophistication surrounding this beer.
But not only the label is red here. The beer has a distinct, reddish brown colour. Hazy with lots of impurities. Very fizzy when poured but leaves no head. Soft, sweetish, fruity and very unusual flavours of.... strawberry! 270103

Bottled. Deep amber with rich, lively, fine firm head. Odd aroma - old hay, and... cow! It smells like cow! Roasty, caramel malt, sweet and light bodied. Yeasty and very lively. Discretely flavourful.

75 cL bottle, there is a cow on the red label - why? Pours hazy deep orange with a slight off-white head. Aroma is mild yeasty and malty. Flavour is light metallic to a distinct dry malt base. Holds a light dry breadish note. Ends light fruity yeasty with a mild bitterness just lurking through. Decent to good brew.

Bottled. Reddish amber colour, no head to speak about. Aroma is sour and metallic with hops and yeast. Flavour is sour fruit along with caramellly sweetness. Yeasty aftertaste. Quite similar to L’ ambree d’ esquelbecq in many ways.

Hazy amber color with a nice perlage. Nice honey aroma, yet delicate. Medium body structure, simple flavor with light caramel and honey; with a very light sourness, that let’s me suspect a starting infection.

Draught at Bruxellensis Festival. Dark brown/red. Thick lasting beige head. Caramel, buttery, not great. Some hop on finish. But mostly its butter.

Bottled (BB 08/2007).
Amber color, mostly vanishing head. Crisp, lemony hoppy nose, hints of fruits and metal. Crisp, malty, candy sugar sweetness. Kind of gross-over of sweet Dutch ale and a bière de Garde.
