Pours pretty amber with orange highlights, slightly hazy from effervescence and yeast, compact off-white head. Nose is sour cherries, funk, clover, honey. The first sip, though, is maple, followed by walnuts, more funk, tart raspberries, leather, soil, more honey and a hint of hot spice. Nice refreshing finish, though the body is thinner than it could be. Like dropping in at a farmhouse in late afternoon before continuing on.

Idiosynkrasie (4671) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAY 22, 2015
330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber-ish red colour with average, frothy to macropore, diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Malty and fruity aroma, notes of rose hip and hibiscus, a spicy touch of cinnamon and soy sauce. Taste is moderately sweet malty, some caramel, hints of rosehip, cautious cinnamon allusions. Spiced in wisely restrained mode.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - a stunning auburn. It would’ve been a 5 had the head not disappeared so quickly. Nose - redcurrants and cherry. Some wood spice. Taste - more wood and red fruit. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a dry tangy finish. Overall - interesting and enjoyable.
