4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle gushes when opened, pours hazy amber with strong head and visible effervescence as well as some floaties. Aroma is light tart pepperiness, raisin, bread. Taste is candy caramel, raisin, tart green grape, freshly baked bread. Body is light, frothy, effervescent, and with a dry tart grapey finish. Overall, an extremely delicious beer. Very enlightening to drink as I experience very different (yet delicious) results while brewing with their yest.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bronzy and quite effervescent, it started off with a fat layer of honeycomb meringue, and it kept on bubbling and churning like a miniature volcano in the middle of my glass, I enjoyed watching that. A few flakes were found laying around the bottom, not enough for me to be repulsed.
A real sour, almost lactic aroma. Like a funk-less lambic, or freshly squeezed lemonade. I tried hard to pick up anything else, but just couldn’t. A little one-dimentional, but I liked it anyway.
Excellent presence in my palate, much more malt body than I expected, it finished off chewy with an unripe exotic fruit flavor, like a caramel coated mango. This is my second solid offering from Thiriez, I’ll try to seek them out more.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33 cl bottle. Coppery colour, slightly cloudy, modest white head of a fine, delicate structure. Malty nose with sourish, almost pungent herbal and fruity notes; quince, raisins. Honey-ish and sourish taste with a mild hoppy finish. Velvety palate.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
tasting notes from last year. Explosive beer. Foams like a madman! Orangish colored pour with crazy white head that lingered quite a while. Some caramel and fruit on the nose, nothing spectacular. Some spice in the flavor. I wasnt really impressed with this at the time... I think I was looking for something else at the time and they were out. I should try it again for an up to date rating.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
20110602 Oirschot Beerfest (33 cl bottle): A slightly cloudy amber-coloured beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is like amber-malt with caramle. Not to fresh. A sweet malty taste (caramel), full body, but with a sharp sour sense. A malty bitterness, not to much hopbitterness. BBE 01/2011

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours hazy amber. Aroma of brown sugar, malt. Yeasty. Taste sweet (caramel) and greenish, well-balanced. Lack of body and short finish make this beer a bit boring though.

Tap at Les Trois 8. Pours a reddish amber with one finger of reddish tan head. Aroma is simple but pleasant: muted caramel malts, orange zest, banana, grassy hops. Taste is orange marmalade, plum, toasted bread, rye, herbal hops, lingering bitterness. Nice.
