First Snowfall of the Season tasting in Odense. Amber with a big white head. Rich fruity aroma with orange, pineapple and prune with some pepper and a mineral note. Dry and tart spicy and dried fruit flavour

75 cl bottle from BeerGeek. Hazy amber color with a three finger beige head. Aromas of spice and light citrus. Nearly full bodied with coarsely creamy carbonation. Flavor is "brown" malt, with a hint of coffee, and lots of light, but not stone, fruits. Lots meaning many kinds, not lots of fruit. The mouth tingles. The finish seems reasonably balanced. What I thought was coffee, not seems more like cola. It just won’t settle down. It is a really enjoyable beer.

Danke an den Doppelbock für das Bier! Recht milder, etwas fruchtiger aromatischer Geruch. Minimal fruchtig etwas herb und relativ mild schmeckt das Bier dann auch, wobei mir der würzige Nachgeschmack am meisten zusagt. Test vom 4.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,10,10,12,9,10 - 10,15

Pepper and nutmeg in the aroma. Thin, biscuit, nutmeg, even a bit grainy. Some bitterness. The flavor is a bit of a letoff compared to the fine aroma.

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy brown, somewhat rusty with a medium, fizzy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is toast and caramel malt, dates, cellar notes and faint hops. Flavor is malt dominant, no real hops, faint bitterness, light esters and a sweet finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Bottle… Hazy golden ale with a huge, fragile, off-white head. The aroma is toasted and doughy. Light-bodied with champagne-like carbonation. Pleasantly sweet and bready. Crisp, clean, lightly toasted finish.

750ml bottle shared courtesy of dick in some beer. Paul had to very slowly open this one over the sink. He mentioned that another Thiriez beer he had was a gusher too. Poured a deep and slightly hazy golden color with a small sized white head. Lots of small particles. Aromas of some spices, pine, citrus, and somewhat grainy. Tastes of citrus, lighter spices, citrus and light yeast. Thinner body.
