4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours pretty amber with orange highlights, slightly hazy from effervescence and yeast, compact off-white head.
Nose is sour cherries, funk, clover, honey. The first sip, though, is maple, followed by walnuts, more funk, tart raspberries, leather, soil, more honey and a hint of hot spice.
Nice refreshing finish, though the body is thinner than it could be. Like dropping in at a farmhouse in late afternoon before continuing on.

Taste - more wood and red fruit.
Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a dry tangy finish.
Overall - interesting and enjoyable.
