Bottle - Brown sugar, malt and some yeasty sourness. Cloudy amber with particles, foamy dissipating head. Very dry and dusty, an lack of body makes this just ok for me. Mild spices and a vanilla note does peek its head out.

750mL thanks to Travlr.Slow gusher. Large creamy, beige head atop deep reddish ruby, rust. Good lacing. Mega malty nose with brown sugar, black cherry, some celery, dill, wet hay. Taste is bitter, minerally, black cherry soda, rustic malt. A bit bland. Effervescent rather than thick and malty. No oatmeal richness wanted in style. Not too bad. In a way it tastes like diet black cherry soda mixed with malta non alcoholic beverage.

Bottle. Aroma of malted barley. Lightly roasted malt. Caramel and toffee. A hint of earthy dirtiness. Some baking bread. Pours cloudy dark copper with lots of particulate. Pleasant flavor profile with notes of barley, toasted malt, biscuits, yeast and a hint of dry earthy hops. Creamy on the tongue with lively carbonation.

750ml capped bottle pours a brown color which reveals amber hues when held to the light and has a massive white head with good retention and leaves a thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is dark fruits (perhaps raisins or plums) with some light grains and grassy herbal notes. Taste is the dark fruits and light malt sweetness with a herbal hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied with abundant carbonation providing a healthy mouthfeel. A nicely done saison which is quite hoppy for the style but still very tasty and recommended.

Taster from bottle at Binny’s, Downers Grove. Nice warm, spicy smell, slightly cloudy caramel color. Taste is somewhat fizzy in the style of a warm ferment. A little fruity, and slightly nutty.

Bottle gushes when opened, pours hazy amber with strong head and visible effervescence as well as some floaties. Aroma is light tart pepperiness, raisin, bread. Taste is candy caramel, raisin, tart green grape, freshly baked bread. Body is light, frothy, effervescent, and with a dry tart grapey finish. Overall, an extremely delicious beer. Very enlightening to drink as I experience very different (yet delicious) results while brewing with their yest.

2*330 ml bottles bought in a mixpack and shared at tasting. Pours hazy dark amber with a frothy off-white head that slowly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, malty and tiny metallic with plums, raisins, bread, apricots, sweet oranges, caramelized nuts and toffee. Taste is very sweet and fruity with bread, wild strawberries, wood, hazelnuts, toffee and hints of vanilla. Mouthfeel is tiny watery, slightly sticky sweet and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and very tiny sour with bread, wood, yeasty esters and plums.
