Bottle (750 ml). Shared by czar, thanks! Small gusher. Brown with a huge off-white head and some lacing. Aroma of wood at first followed by red wine, red fruits, light caramel/chocolate notes and light vinegar. Taste is slightly sweet and sour with oak, red fruits, light winey notes and light caramel/chocolate again. Medium body. Good carbonation. Slightly winey mouthfeel. Ok Sour brown. Well balanced. Nowhere near Rodenbach in termes of deepness, but still really interesting.

750 ml bottle shared with Tom and chums around bonfire. Can hardly make out anything I wrote down on it. Pours a veiled brown with a short lived beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate, caramel, bretts. Flavor is fruit concentrate. Things I seriously cannot decipher. Finish is unripe fruit, tartness, soap. Light body, average carbonation.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2013 Bottle 75 cl. Pours dark brown in color with a massive tan head. Wooden barrels, light vinegar, chocolate and sour berries in aroma. Just a bit sour in taste, some metallic notes (these were only in the beginning here, apparently a bit too cold) and red berries in taste at first. Light nutty and chocolate notes in taste as well. A bit of tartness, mellows out to more a pleasant drink after some airing. Light sour and nutty chocolate notes in aftertaste. This is a brew that grows on you after awhile.

0.75 l bottle from saveur-biere. Chestnut-oak brown colour, fluffy and airy beige head. Sour nose with woody hints. Medium-bodied, malty with caramel and a pleasant sourness, not as intensive as in Flemish sour ales like Rodenbach, yet of the same character. Very pleasantly balanced, not offensive but with its very own character. The carbonation is interesting and unusal - low in the beginning, but the beer foams up in the mouth and transports the complex flavours into every corner. All in all, an unusual, very interesting and delicious ale with a wild character (reminding me of Lithuanian farmhouse ales).

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 14/V/13 - 75cl bottle @ home - BB: n/a - Millésime 2012 (2013-475) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy brown beer, huge beige aery head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very soapy, shampoo, floral, weird. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, red fruits, pretty soapy, bit unpleasant. Aftertaste:s lightly sour, very soapy, some liquorish, green apples, citrus, floral, fruity. Not my cup of tea.
