Crystal clear copper body topped by a well-retained creamy beige head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, nutty, light grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, grapefruit, some nutty, pineapple. Medium-full body, some resin, light acidity.

On tap at the brewpub in downtown San Francisco.Light copper appearance with a thick white head. Sweet, caramel-like aroma. Flavor has some fruitiness to it with some back end nuttiness. Some chocolate finds its way in there as well. Very complex flavor. Extra creamy mouthfeel. Another choice for a pint from the sample.

Very nice brew. Dark red color, almost purple. Aroma is very malty, yeasty, warm. Flavor is dark, pine, has an almost overly burnt quality to it. Very weighty mouthfeel. Quality.

Draft. Deep mahogony red with a big beige head. Roasted malt aroma with vanilla and citrus hops. Huge citrus/pine/resin hop flavor backed by sweet malts. Creamy mouthfeel. Very hoppy aftertaste.
