On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a mostly clear brown-amber body and a tan head that lasts. Aroma is bready, light roast, nutty with some coffee. Taste is coffee, creamer, nutty, toffee, roasted, almond brittle. Medium bubbles.

Draught at the Giants Brewfest. Brown with a white head. Caramel, toast, and a touc of earthy hops in the aroma. Sweet and caramelly flavor with some light toast and chocolate. Modest hops and a round finish. Medium-light body. Mild brown, but decent balance.

Light chocolate aroma with some light herbal character. A bit of light licorice. Softly fruity with a little bit of cocoaish roastiness. Not really roasty but it is quite nice and cocoaish.

On tap at the Thirsty Bear. Pours a dark copper hue with a large white head. The aroma is sweet toasted malts. The flavor is somehow juicy, sweet malts, lots of fresh hops and toasted nutty malt. Nice.

Sampled at Thirsty Bear. Nutty grainy aroma, with light floral hops. Dusty grains and mild rye aroma - like I’m standing in the milling room. Medium sweet nutty nose. Medium brown-amber clear with creamy off-white lacing head. Medium bodied with medium-light carbonation. Starts with medium sweetness, grainy and malty with a bit o rye or similar grainy taste. Mild brown sugar and nice mute floral hop bitterness. Nutty and a little mealy, with a nutty salty-sweet finish and light nutty bitter after.
