3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Tom Servo (424) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - SEP 5, 2005Very nice beer. Aroma is citrus, with a hop-heavy nose. Has a very pale coloring, almost the same as the vanilla brew. Flavos is standard IPA, but has a bit of spice in it that gives it a nice kick. It’s not exactly an earth-shattering brew, but it’s not without its charm.

Warm from the cask. Just down the street from the brewery. So floral and perfect.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 lusikka (4124) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 14, 2012
Draught @ Thirsty Bear Brewing Company, San Francisco. Rated on 13.10.2012. 75 IBU, 7% ABV.
Pours a hazy orange copper colour with a strong lacy head. Aroma of strong lemongrass, pale malts and sweet fruits. Flavour is really aggressive with it’s grassy bitterness. It’s like eating fresh grass straight from the ground. Caramel, mandarin orange and astrigent notes. Medium bodied, thick mouthfeel and a long bitter finish where the alcohol comes through. Great stuff.

A slightly cloudy golden orange pour with a white head. Spicy hops on the nose, some citrus peel fruitiness, and a nice floral note. A little bit of pine an sweet bread. There’s a really. Nice fruity quality to the nose. Some sweet citrus, a hint of peach, and a little bit of grass. Mild hop bitterness, some bread, and light floral hops.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 thetmaxx (673) - West Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 6, 2012
Took this home in a growler from the brewpub. Pours a great orangeish color. Nice white head with good lacing. Aroma is of citrus and dank hops. Flavor is similar. Palate is thinner, but makes for a great drinking beer!

The best beer I had here, lacking the bitterness and sweetness I’d like to see in an IPA, but a solid crowd pleaser.

On tap at Thirsty Bear. Pours clear golden with white head. Aromas of some bready malts, tropical fruits, and some citrus. Flavors of mango, citrus, light caramel, and a bit of biscuity malts. The better of the two beers I had from there.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 joeneugs (2176) - Livermore, California, USA - JUL 24, 2011
Pours golden with a small off white head. The aroma is peachy and fruity with some berries. The flavor is tropical with mango and peaches. It finishes with a touch of butter on the palate. Very average.
