Sampler at the brewpub. Orange body with a rocky white head. Strong citrus aroma reveals abundant grapefruit in the flavour, along with pine and floral hops. Nice crisp mouthfeel with moderate bitterness.

Jul 30, 2008 Not the greatest IPA - going from memory this was a somewhat hoppy IPA, not the hop bomb that the WC usually produces. Goes well with tapas however.

Jul 2, 2008 great malt weird but balanced hop. A little thick. A little conservative, I worry that these San Frans are trying to play for to big of an audience. (Thats why I drive to Santa Rosa for good beer)

Apr 27, 2008 On tap at the brewhouse. One of their better beers I thought. It’s a straightfoward IPA but nothing too adventurous. Nice balance, but a little thin on flavors and body.

Apr 11, 2008 Sampled at the brew house. Has a very hoppy scent to it with dark orange/brown hues, with minimal head. Flavor is not as hoppy as the aroma leads it to be. Very drinkable but not the greatest IPA.

Mar 26, 2008 Was told the recipe changed due to the hop shortage. Light bronze with decent head color. Nice hop aroma, perhaps amarillo, as their is a citrus note. Decent hop flavor without any harsh bitterness. Mild malt backbone. A solid, if unmemorable IPA.
