COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A deep, sable color full of roasted and black malts distinguish this silky smooth dry, Irish style stout. This beer is served with a unique blend of nitrogen and carbon dioxide gases, which gives it a smoother, more flavorful palette and a rich, creamy head without the strong bite of a highly carbonated beer.

On tap at the brewery: Dark brown color with ruby highlights and a typical tan, creamy nitro head. The aroma was very roasty and smoky. The flavor was sweeter than I expected...chocolate, roasted coffee. The feel was pretty flat (nitro, ya know) and slightly thinner than expected.

Draft to pint glass Roasted malt, nuts, oats, and something acidic. Dark black/brown with a characteristic cascade and a very (nitro) creamy tan head. Taste is acidic, quite malty and nutty

A great stout. Easily the best we've had from Thirsty Bear. Pours a beautiful thick black with a tan head. Smells like nutty vanilla. Taste is nutty, creamy and extremely thick. Had a slightly bitter finish. Paired with Point Reyes blue cheese, it smooths out the bitterness and brings out the sweetness and nuttiness. Makes it tastes like a ice cream stout. Great. Had on tap at the brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly pulpy, cardboardy malty roasty aroma. Rich, roasty malt body, a little patenty for my tastes, but nice overall. Surprisingly sweet finish.

On tap at thirsty bear, thanks to bnoel09 for sharing! Poured with a beautiful nitro head. Flavor has good chocolate and roasted notes, was a good dry stout.

Poured from tap at brewpub a black with medium small tan head. Aroma is light roast coffee and chocolate. Flavor has a bit of roast grain, coffee, chocolate and a creamy milkiness. The palate has a light smooth bitterness but finishes a touch watery. I thought this beer was good not great.

Delirium (636) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 18, 2007
Draught at the brewpub. Pours dark brown / black with a moderate tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, some dark fruits, and hint of chocolate. Flavor is a robust malty stout, with a lot of roast and a bit of sweetness. A little bit of bitterness, and a creamy, full mouthfeel; not particularly dry imo. Quite good, though.

Sampler at ThirstyBear, wouldn't stand up to Guinness. Very mild chocolate, weak aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very dark brownish black with a hint of red at the edges. Creamy nitro head. Strong roasty aroma. Strong roasted malt, coffee grounds and light hops flavors. Extremely thin feel. Fairly wet finish. Nice flavor, but just too thin.

Black colour with thin creamy chocolate brown head. Roasted malt nose with hints of coffee and chocolate. Bitter raosted malt taste with lingering bitter coffee and chocolate malt finish.
