Our wheat beer brewed in the belgian-wit tradition, including unmalted wheat and spiced with coriander and orange peel. Added complexity provided by our house belgian yeast blend after its characteristic high fermentation temperatures.

On tap at the brewery. Pours an opaque hazed gold with a thin white head. Big honeydew melon, light musky citrus on the nose. Medium-bodied, musky citrus, light and smooth. Nice balance of wheat and citrus. My server told me this batch came out hoppier than they had intended, and it definetely worked out of the better. Probably the best beer there that day, nice hoppy session wheat thing going on. Slow musk and citrus into the finish, light pith and grapefruit bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub. Clouded yellow / greyish coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is weird stale wheat, peppercorn, savory meat, pepperami. Flavour is composed of strange sweet and savory, wheat, doughy grains, cracked peppercorn, pepperoni. Palate is semi crisp, drying finish, frothy carbonation. Bit of a weird one.

Cloudy yellow with a fluffy white head. Bready and lemony aroma. A bit funky. Mild dry flavor with more citrus. Thirst quenching. Pretty good overall, but could be better.

TEJA (2448) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 5, 2014
Draught at the Thirsty bear pub in San Fransico. Fluffy, long lasting white head. Really clowdy yellow color. The aroma has both corriander and belgian phenols blended with a perspiring horse. Fruity with some citrus and lots of typical belgian taste. Litle too sweet and low body.
