Sampler at ThirstBear, very much a Belgian white, fruity aroma, coriander balances the banana yeast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy pale yellow colour with a small head. Aroma of wheat and grains with some weak floral notes. Flavour of wheat, yeast, strong grassy hops and strong orange notes. Medium bodied, thin mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Good bitterness.

Cloudy pale straw color with a white head. A strong spice aroma of clove and pepper. A light fruit note and some interesting tartness. Weird soapy note, too. The flavor is sour and soapy. A little bit of fruit, some wheat, and bread. A definite spice note, some grass, and a hint of yeast.

Yellow hazy pour, quickly diminished head. Aroma is malty, lemony, and a lot coriander. Flavor is moderately sweet, finish is lightly sweet. Too much coriander for me.

According to my bar tender, this was freshly transferred right before I sampled it so it was yellow orange in color but very, very cloudy. Maybe it is not fair to mark off for this but that is how they served it so that’s how I’ll rate it. This was at its own brewpub. There is a bit of citrus in the nose and more in the flavor w/ some grapefruit rind bitterness. There’s not a lot of yeast character (though there is a lot of yeast in it still) but nice and light and very drinkable w/ heavy orange notes.

20 oz at the brewpub.Very cloudy yellowish white. Small white head. Aroma with coriander and orange peel. Some yeast notes. Soft malty flavours with quite a bit of wit yeast. Quite nice wit, but a little heavy on the yeast.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy, pale yellow. Intense coriander nose. Way too much coriander also in the mouth, dwarfing the fruitiness. Dry. Not too refined.

At the brewpub in San Francisco, on April 22, 2011
As part of a sample plate
Slight bit hazy pale yellow color, white head. Phenolic taste that’s a bit funky and yeasty. Medium to smooth mouthfeel. Fairly low bitterenss. Funky phenolic scent.
Lacks something of the spicyness and citrus to be a wit. OK though as for my taste.
